When I click on the Objectdock bar and click "QUIT" then after I restart the pc, Objectdock opens correctly. When I don't Click "QUIT" on Objectdock and just restart the Win11 then seems like the fast shutdown makes the startup of Objectdock pop up an error message that it was not saved correctly. Objectdock comes on correctly after I click ok on the error message. Don't know what to do Doc. My thought I was wondering if there was a way to slow down the restart progress that Objectdock might need to shut down slowly to open correctly after startup. I changed some setting's in the registry but that even failed so I set the registry back to original. Unchecked, "Load at startup" in Objectdock settings and deleted the Objectdock shortcut in the startup folder as told to do and that failed. The Win 11 pro and super fast and would be perfect if I could only make this flaw history. Maybe Objectdock is not ready for Win11 but there should be some kind of work around.

First, please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.
Should I restart now after receiving this message?
When you see that, just follow the instruction, press any key to continue... and wait until a popup Windows come up asking you to restart Windows.
Thank you,
Basj,Stardock Community Assistant
Sorry Doc,The same error still presents itself at start-up. I had a back-up to bring back all 15 Tabs and 150 short-cuts but all came back without the need of the back-up. That was nice. Any thoughts Doc?
Hey Gemmee,
Just wanted to say hello. We miss you in WinCustomise. Your creations are still being downloaded often. Please consider taking a little time to create more fine art.

Just to confirm, the issue only appear when you turn on Fast shutdown? And, not, if you turn it off?
I never turned on fast shutdown that I never knew one could. When I choose QUIT on Objectdock it takes a few seconds to shutdown because as you know it's saving. When I shutdown then this time to save doesn't have the time as it needs to save. Then at start-up the error returns. I went to the registry to slow the shutdown time but it seemed never to slow it up. Do you know other ways to slow the shutdown time to slower?
Your error dialog shows:
Are you by any chance using any 32bit docklets from WinCustomise?
I'm not using Docklets. In the future if I do use a Docklet, sounds like I might need to change somehow to 64bit but I see not how.
Perhaps your saved setting was corrupted. Just to confirm. Open up OD Troubleshooting Window.
Sorry, I already did that to no avail. I have set settings again in the registry to slow shutdown by 20 seconds. I'll restart to see if this works.
I restarted and the error message never came back. I set it for 20 seconds and now will try out a 10 second change in the registry. Thanks for trying. Been a fan for Stardock and will continue to be. Take care. From Gemmee.
That is strange, I never need to have such issue and as far as I can remember I never read similar issue as yours ever reported.
I have forwarded your problem to Stardock Support Team for their assistance. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We appreciate your feedback and patience.
