I've several bugs to report, but the process is quite painful to report them, which in turns prevents your users from being able to report them and for you to know what's broken and fix them.
There needs to be an easier way to report bugs from the UI with a simple bug button that would take a screenshot with a highlighted area, a save capturing the state of the game with preferably a previous state without any user input to make it easier to reproduce, various version details, and taking text input to let the user write what's going on.
If you had done one post titled "Bugs I have found" then listed them it would not have been that difficult.
Also a lot easier for posters to comment
Some of your posts were not bugs but the way the Xeloxi pirate drafting ability works.
Although I am at a loss to what you mean by "fortresses" is that military starbases? If yes, how were you able to move them? In three years plus of playing this game I have (and 25 years with Gal Civ) I have never been able to move a Starbase.
saboorohit..
It would be far more appropriate to have posted a single thread with the heading "Bugs in Galciv IV" and simply listed them together or add to them via comment responses.
12 separate threads makes it far more laborious for people to follow and respond and is disrespectful to other site users whose own threads are hugely displaced.
The trick is...when an Admin sees a large number of threads from one user he automatically assumes it is an unwanted spammer and the posts are all deleted and also the person who posted them.
I have saves for each, which makes it super tricky to merge them all into one thread. As I mentioned if there was an easier way to report bugs, this would not be a problem.
Fortresses are seen when you attack a precursor anomaly.
Additionally, separate threads for each bug helps track responses and details better. It a standard software engineering practice. In fact, posting things unrelated to the original bug under this topic creates more confusion for everyone reading these.
This is a request, not a suggestion.
Spamming the forum with multiple threads displaces other users' threads from current focus.
Consideration for others using the Forums is a "standard practice" also.
