Hi there,
I’ve been trying out the ObjectDock 30-day trial and honestly, I am so impressed! The layout, animations, skin customization and most importantly multiple dock integration is exactly what I was looking for, I thought I’d finally found the perfect dock.
That said, I did run into one small UX issue that really impacted the experience for me: when the dock is positioned near the edge of the screen (like the bottom or side), the tooltip text gets cut off. It’s a minor detail but it breaks the polish of an otherwise sleek tool, and for a UI-focused app, it stands out a lot.
I was actually considering buying ObjectDock, but I ended up looking into Winstep Nexus Ultimate instead, mainly because of this tooltip issue. I thought it might be worth letting you know, in case it’s something that could be fixed in a future update. I imagine a lot of users might not say anything and just quietly switch over.
I really appreciate all the work that’s gone into ObjectDock, it’s still one of the best dock tools out there, and I’d love to keep using it if this small UX hiccup gets addressed.
Thanks for your time and for keeping this classic alive 🤍

Hi Boomchikkawowow,
Thanks for posting. Seems like this can happen specifically with a Tabbed Dock that's positioned too close to the edge of the screen. We now have this logged for review.

Hi Adam, thanks for logging this issue, just wanted to chime in as another user who's noticed the same tooltip clipping behavior. I also use a tabbed dock along the bottom edge of the screen, and the tooltips getting cut off have been a bit distracting. Glad to hear it's on your radar now. Looking forward to any updates down the line.
