Hello, I have downloaded and installed Window Blinds 11. Either I do not fully understand how to use the program, or there are quite a few functions that do not work 100%. I downloaded a theme and installed it. Subsequently, I found that the theme did not work through in the Office programs. I then tried using the "Per application" function to put the same theme on Word, Excel and Powerpoint, but it didn't work at all. Is it just me who hasn't quite figured out how to do it, or? In addition, the Skin editor did not come with the installation of Blinds, as stated on the website. Note I am running the 30 day trial version.
Not all applications can be skinned. If they dont use native windows elements, they will not change the look as those applications have hard-coded graphics. Microsoft office and most well known web browsers are pretty much a no skin area.
Windowblinds 11 works very well. Windowblinds 11 is not the problem here. The problem is that Microsoft Office and various browsers are designed and built in such a way that they cannot and will not be skinned, period. That may also be the case when it comes to some other apps as well. It's the dawn of a new tomorrow! [sarcasm intended]
Thanks for reply. I had expected something along those lines, since in Microsoft Office there are a few color schemes to choose from.
