Display is 2560x1440, running on a GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card. OS is Windows 11. Seen a # of cases of overlapping text, but is the first time in over 50 hours of game play, that I took a screen capture. (Sorry, SHOULD have saved the game when this happened.)

Thanks so much for letting us know about the issue and I'm sorry it impacted your game. Our team is aware of the issue and actively looking for a fix. In the meantime, the visual issue should resolve for you upon restarting the game.
A lot of times this will get resoved several turns later. Don't worry about it.

There have similar garbled text situations, I have gotten so wrapped up into the game, that I forget to log the error. I will try to do better in the future, when it comes to reporting these things. (Devs cannot fix what players fail to report.)

This wasn't the first time, and yes you are right, it eventually goes away. (mperlmuter is probably correct, that the text resets, after a restart.)
Here's another one, when looking at a Mining Starbase. Right below "Starbase Report", in the upper left.
