ahhh ok I understand, there was too much customer dissatisfaction so you implemented censorship.... a very strange marketing strategy but it's your business after all
I think what matters most is if the voices on that thread were actually heard. Fences 5 is about to be released on steam and this is an opportunity to make things right for a lot of disappointment people. It all comes down to capitalization versus reputation at this point, I am not sure that both can be equally achieved. I do believe a steam price tag of 19.99 can save Stardocks reputation, if that is their end goal. However, if Fences 5 gets released at 29.99 on steam I can tell them right now they will get review bombed. It is a delicate balance, especially right now, because some of Stardocks recent changes just isn't sitting well with people. Deleting a thread isnt going to change how people are really feeling about things.
Maybe Stardock is listening and maybe positive changes are under way... We will see very soon
