Someone recently asked devteam to update old software like IconPackager:
IconPackager is not yet compatible with Win 11
So I have same question about IconDeveloper. I wish to purchase both software but i'm afraid that I will mistakenly purchase pretty outdated apps.
Do you guys have plans to update IconDeveloper (and it would be good to receive current status about IconPackager too) in the nearest future?
These are still powerful solutions to customize such simple Windows system part as Icons, and many of your customers will appreciate your concern to continue your support about these 2 products. Thank you!

I fear we will soon enough have no chance anymore to change System Icons in such an effective manner. I would not count on any updates anymore. Neither IconPackager nor IconDeveloper. I just wait for the next Windows Update to make it completely unusable.
You are so correct about how Microsoft have been making Stardock products obsolete by sometimes replacing it with their own version or, just out right doing away with individuality with updates -- thus, making us not having the ability to decorate our windows (Blinds!) all together -- it's like, they're seeking a Collective Hive Mind-Set for Windows users like the Star Trek menaces, the Borg, 🤖" You will assimilate 'resistance' is fruitile!" in order to continue making money pushing out products -- sometimes it's best to simulate -- when you can't beat them, join them. (Remember the Windows blind, Dragon Stand in 2006 with animated fire? It was simply beautiful indeed🧡)
