Can you provide feature to highlight active tab otherwise it is very difficult to figure out which tab is active for example when I have all notepad windows grouped?
Thanks
Hello,Sorry to hear you are having issues. But I can differentiate it quite easily. Perhaps, you can post what you have on your system.
ThanksBasj,Stardock Community Assistant.
Hi Basj,
Open all notepad files or from same application. You wont be able to tell which tab is active. In my case they all have black backgroumd. I think even in the picture you posted it is hard to tell but if you look at it long enough then you can tell by different application icons on the tab.
What we need is a user configurable background color for active tab.
I still cannot reproduce it, Please refer to my screenshot below.
Thank you,
Basj,Stardock Community Assistant
I agree with venkum, in some configurations the difference in color between the active tab and inactive tabs is way too subtle. It would be great if we could get back the color settings for:
Focused Active TabFocused Inactive TabNon-Focused Active TabNon-Focused Inactive Tab
And also adding an option to select color for Tab Background Bar.
This is why I asked for screenshots. So I can try to reproduce your issues on my system. So that I can pass it along to Support.
I support the OP and PELaird's suggestion, and not just for notepad.
In Groupy 2 configuration, under tab appearance can I suggest that there is a setting to choose the tab colour of the currently active tab (and as PE Laird suggests).
The 'accessibility' of the fine graduations of colours (or greys) of the different (active and non-active) groupy tabs is not distinguishable by my eyes.
Hello,I have forwarded your problem/question to Stardock Support Team for their assistance. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We appreciate your feedback and patience.
Here is a screenshot of one configuration I use. As you can see, the active tab is recognizable, but It takes me a second to recognize it. Not everyone's eyes see colors the same, especially older eyes. The Stardock tab and the Icofx tab look very much the same to me at first glance.
Hello all,
In the next release we will have some additional functionality to adjust tab/bar colors

Nice!!!!
Great thanks.
Here's what I have for tab colors. As you can see it is very difficult to discern the subtleness in the background coloring. This is not just with notepad but with many apps.
From what I can see it appears this is not implemented yet. If yes, then when will this be fixed?
The colour options are in the release version which came out yesterday.
We also changed it so the active tab has a bold font to make it more obvious.
I see the change in font color but active tab is still not discernible. See attached screenshot. I mean you tell me if it is easy to tell quickly which tab is active tab. Why can't I pick a background color to indicate active tab? Why is it so difficult to provide this functionality? This is not at all acceptable.
Have you tried this setting?
