My virus scanner keeps telling me:
https://www.galciv4.com/js/vendor.min.js?v=638155984173594829
Threat name: JS:Trojan.Cryxos.12422
https://www.galciv4.com/js/vendor/lsb-lightbox/lsb.min.js
Got the same virus yesterday in my galactic civilization game files, anti virus cleared it.
Maybe you need to run anti virus scan on your website?
I had this issue, but 24 hours after contacting Bitdefender support something resolved the problem with my issues.
I get this message too when trying to install the game after I did a complete reinstallation of windows.

I don't believe you I am sending steam a refund request and not using the product. Until you remove the virus from your game files.
Do you use Bitdefender as well, or a different antivirus?
Or a lot more likely, your AV is reporting a false positive. I can assure you, if you have a virus, it did not come with the game downloaded from a legit source.
That.
Yes I am using the same bitdefender and steam denied my refund request so NOT HAPPY!!!! NOT HAPPY!!!!.
I either want my refund or this virus gone. Either way steam is going to be blacklisted if I don't get my situation resolved.
Of course. You both got the same false positive from the same antivirus.
The key word is FALSE.
Now, to the fix: Go here and just exclude it.

Many AV programs can be slow to determine specific signatures as safe. Often they will be working with the idea 'better safe than sorry' and auto-exclude signatures that are only similar but are actually different.
That's the process referred to as 'false positive'.
Bitdefender is better than some, in fact I used it for years...until the advent of Windows 7 for which it was too slow to become compatible so I moved to Kaspersky which had already adapted to '7'. I rarely now get false positives...
You have not proved that its false so no reason for me to exclude it from scanning.
We have nothing to prove, and don't intend to try. Not to put too fine a point to it, you're the one with the problem. We attempted to explain what Bitdefender is doing to you both. We tried to help you.
It's up to you what you choose to do.
**Removed screenshots and post of issue that was resolved**
In general, urls can be excepted as well. Also, their warnings are reputational by reports. It's really interesting that there are no other such reports except those from Bitdefender on this thread and in forums, of all the antivirals out there, as well as Windows Defender. Don't you find that strange?
Incidentally, you should be talking with Bitdefender Support, or their forums to seek solutions to questions like this.
Their software's performance is hardly Stardock's responsibility, in any case.
You can also do a multiviral scan via web based services and see how many antivirals find a trojan there.

My problem is your product seems like its infected. Lol my solution is to ditch our product and not use it because your proposed solution is unreasonable. I can't open up security holes on my machine. I can't tell who is correct you or the virus scanner because you say "We have nothing to prove, and don't intend to try."
So maybe in a couple months will try reinstalling and either you or the virus scanner will fix the issue over the next 3 months.
You're product currently can't pass a virus scan so is being denied access until it does. It currently pointless to use the product. I will just play something else for the next couple months.
I told you how to do that.
Go to this url and do the scan for the url:

Like arguing with a Drengin
Too funny, because the same thought was going through my head this morning.
This is not my thread but my issues with Bitdefender alarms and downloading the game has been resolved. I haven't received communication as to how it was resolved, but I can download the game now.
I would expect Bitdefender has corrected its signature database to rightly 'clear' the false positive....
