Started trying to play Supernova today. Ran into issues where I can't play any races besides Terran or custom civs and I can't use the Civ AI generator. It says something about not being authenticated. What am I missing?
It says something about coming soon, this is because all the races are being reworked and will be returned over the next few months as the beta advances to release status till then the game is in early access status and things like civilizations and multiplayer are yet to be added.
That's fine. But I'm still not sure what the "authenticated" issue is about. That one seems a bit off.
Verify your files and then using the Terrains try to play.
Some players have needed to do this after downloading.
Also is this epic or Steam?
That didn't work but thanks for the attempt at a solution. It's running through Epic.
I'm Ghost88 on Steam and Discord where I'm a mod so not being a Developer I have exhausted my knowledge that might be of help.

Hello! The authentication issue is being worked on behind the scenes. Currently, an immediate fix currently is simply closing and reopening the game 1-2 times.
Being a founder member for Gal Civ III I purchased Gal Civ IV as soon as It was released on EG and love playing and designing new ships but so far i have found that there are a number off ship parts from GC III that are missing also some that show in the designer that can not be used...I have also purchased Supernova and this brings me to a worrying discovery in both games that the ship designer is missing the access to design Starbase's my question here is that an oversight or am I missing some thing, I had designed a number Starbase's and posted them for other player's to use...I am no longer able to do so and to design them for my self this is so frustrating....would truly appreciate a reply...
Hi RammaStardock here is a list of the ship parts that are missing from GC 4 & Supernova that were in GC3.
United Earth, also the Classic parts, and all the parts from Star Control Origins. Also so the Star base designer from GC4 is missing and is missing from the ship class designer in Supernova. Going back to GC4 to pick up from my last saved game there is no access to it and an error message instead which reads " Saved game requires DLC that is not currently installed-Supernova "as I have both games i find this very odd and to add to that my Faction that I had been working on in the faction generator no longer exists this is very strange I hope that you can give me some answers, looking forward to some clarity.
