I am confused by the Supernova announcement, and am unsure if it’s a whole new game (looks a whole lot like the current game) or if it is a bigger DLC?
Supernova is a paid a expansion. Hope this clears things up!
Actually, it confuses the issue more. It was billed as a "standalone" expansion; which is great if I don't have the base game and want to get the "fixed" version of Galciv 4. However, for the many current users, a "standalone" expansion means we have to rebuy the base game to get access to the "full" version of the game we're playing. Is there going to be a discount for current users and the new SKU for the base game just including the expansion with the game?
this will no doubt go down like a lead balloon. The release description is very obviously truth averse lol.
There will be a stand-alone version of the game as well as an expansion pack. If you have the base game, the expansion cost will be nominal while it’s in early access. Early access will be available April 27th
Reading through Brad's journal he did seem to suggest that some the reworked mechanics and "fixes" will be ported back into the base game.
However the new stuff like additional races and Terror Stars would be be considered new DLC content which would not be free (which is fair enough in my opinion).
It might be a good idea if Stardock released a list indicating exactly what will be imported into the base game and what will paid DLC content (just a thought).
Good afternoon, I have a question, how much will the DLS cost if I have the main game and the second question is when will they add translation into other languages directly into Russian, otherwise I like your games but it’s not comfortable to play in a language that I don’t know
