Took the leap and upgraded to Win11. Faster, but of course MS has done everything they can to remove customized productivity enhancements. So thanks for Start11!
Question:
I keep a folder of shortcuts structured like so:
Root Folder is _shorcuts
Inside is a folder called MyDocs
Inside MyDocs are shortcuts to various Word docs. So a file might be _shortcuts/MyDocs/crocodoc.docx
When _shortcuts was pinned to taskbar in Win10, it had the capability to open a cascading menu where I could quickly quick get to the shortcuts within the various folders without having to open any folders. Can I replicate this with Start11?
Thanks.

Looking at my notes, the procedure was RMB on taskbar and choose /Toolbars/New Toolbar, then select the folder. It's not in Start11, but perhaps you would consider it?
Still hoping we can get this functionality.
In the latest version of Start11, I can drag a folder over the taskbar and "Pin to Taskbar" message is displayed, but it doesn't show up in the taskbar.
The Toolbars option on the Windows 10 taskbar is not supported in Windows 11. However, another Forum member discovered a web site that shows how to pin a folder of file to the Windows 11 taskbar. https://www.makeuseof.com/windows-11-taskbar-pin-almost-anything/
Scroll down the page to "How to Pin a Folder to Windows 11 Taskbar." Pinning a file is the same procedure as pinning a folder.
There is also a free app on the Windows Store called "SystemTrayMenu" that provides a toolbar on the taskbar. It is very customizable. Just spend a little time experimenting with different settings.
Good Luck
Thanks for that.
The first trick doesn't do what I want. SystemTrayMenu is helpful. Not quite as efficient as the old system, but at least it works.
https://github.com/valinet/ExplorerPatcher is another app which can be used to tweak Win11 Start/Taskbar. It actually restores the function I'm requesting, but has issues w/the start menu.
It's amazing the length MS will go to to eliminate efficiency!
