Using the latest Start11 (1.22) and the latest insider build of Win 11 (22616.1) causes the taskbar to be invisible (no color). This is different to the system tray disappearing (that was a Win11 bug that's actually fixed in this build).
This seems to happen when I have the 'Use automatic color for the taskbar' option turned on.
If I turn off the automatic color option for the task bar, then the selected color displays, so there's a workaround.
I've un/re-installed start11 and rebooted and the problem persists.
I know this is an insider build of windows and isn't really supported, but just giving a heads up. Automatic color on:Automatic color off:
Thanks,
JimG.

I have a same issue on a same windows/start11 versions, but turning automatic colour off for taskbar does nothing. Taskbar still transparrent. So I'm using custom texture for a taskbar instead.
Using the latest Start11 (1.22) and the latest insider build of Win 11 (22616.1) causes the whole system tray to be invisible. (With build 610 it were only the hidden icons).
I know you don't support Windows insider previews but I just wanted to let you know.
This Windows build brough back all system tray functionality as is present in the current release of Windows 11.
Before Start11 loads and moves the taskbar to the top, I briefly see the system tray.
Moving the taskbar to the bottom doesn't solve the issue.
Funny enough my Desktop that still has Start11 version 101 doesn’t have this issue but my XPS that’s running version 1.2 does
Both are running the latest Beta insider build
That is because newer versions of Start11 had support for the newer version of the taskbar which Microsoft pulled out of the latest insider build.
Older ones do not so wouldn't have worked so well on older insider builds but will on the newer insider as the taskbar is similar to the original Windows 11 one again.
I'm also using a custom texture until this bug gets fixed
