Hi,
It would be great if we had an option to set pinned items to act as quick launch(don't group pinned items with active apps) just like ExplorerPatcher has.
Maybe this feature can be included in future versions of Start 11.

Whilst I cannot promise this will be exposed as a checkbox option in Start11, it has been added for a future update which can be toggled by a registry key. Notes on enabling that will appear in the release notes.

How do you change the registry to ungroup the pinned items from opened programs?
I see you said you tested it and it worked. I have done other edits on, but it was by following specific instructions, such as getting all the options back on the right click menu of win 11 instead of the dumb icons. My brain reads and understands words faster than little icons that they seem to change often. I use 7+ taskbar tweaker to do that on my win 8.1 computer and also use classic shell, but purchased the full stardock suite to use on my win 11 computer.

It also took me a while to search and find the location. Create that registry entry and set it's value to 1. After that reboot.
