I apologize if this official information is somewhere already, but I have exhausted my search skills.
Exactly when will the Galactic Civilization IV be available on Steam, if at all? I can't find any confirmation if there is a one-year exclusivity deal with Epic after release or not, or what the deal is with Steam.
While everyone is of course welcome to chime in I am really looking for an official response from a moderator, or to be pointed to the official information somewhere is great as well.

I was going to buy GCIV right now, but I see it's only on the Epic store. If I had a guarantee that it would make its way to Steam and I wouldn't have to re-purchase it I'd still buy it.
We have no official announcement to make about Steam. But, we want to be where all players are.
Why no announcement about Steam? If it's an Epic exclusive, why is how long it's exclusively on Epic a secret?
I'm disappointed GalCivIV is not on Steam, I was looking forward to playing it.
At first I was annoyed that I couldn't get it on Steam. However after reading the below quote taken from Epic Games FAQ, I can understand why Stardock went this route. I'll probably go ahead and get it there even though I don't yet have an account with Epic.
