Would it be possible to add a feature of small icons in task bar from Windows 10? It reduces height of the taskbar and there is even more space in width because of the small icons.
Hello,Windows 10 already have small taskbar build in. You just need to turn that on in Taskbar Setting.

With the recent insider- built WIN 11 Pro 22H2 22581.1, this menu has changed. There is no more option to change height & width of the icons or the tastbar. Start 11 is unable too, to change all settings.
I believe the OP is asking for Windows 10, no?
Thank you,

Hello Starock
I'm facing problems with the taskbar to after upgrading to Windows 11 OS Build 22581.100.I was using medium size taskbar before the upgrade came, now I'm stuck w. large taskbar.
Now I can't change the size at all I try using taskbar section of start11. It doesn't work. The size doesn't change.I also tried the registry hack changing "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\TaskbarSi"
nothing happens. :/
Any advice? Is this solved in the beta release? Should I install that instead?
Sincerely
Tim
Unfortunately thats a side effect of using experimental versions of Windows 11.
Small mode will work if you use the Start11 1.17 beta and enable the option to have Start11 enhance the taskbar.
In other words "Though Luck" and "Don't fool around w. the Insider Program". This is quite unwillingly, since I forgot to leave the insider program after I upgraded to W11.
The situation became even weirder, when the taskbar locked it self to the top of the screen after I did a "Restart Explorer" - What a mess !!!Luckily I have a "Time Machine" AKA a backup only a few days old and a well tested disaster recovery setup.
So every thing is snug and fine again. Plus I'm out of the insider program again.
Cheers
