Version Numbering Roadmap
Previously, we communicated plans to make the 1.1 update include features that are related to the taskbar. Because we completed many additional features ahead of schedule (folders, importing of menus, and more) we wanted to get these features released ahead of the taskbar update. To keep our process consistent, we are branding this release version 1.1 - version 1.2 is now the target build for features that enhance the taskbar.

I seem to have 2 all apps buttons with this update.
Why aren't the translations being updated with the new versions?
How about using an internationally unambiguous date format, e.g 12 January 2022 rather than 1/12/22, which would be interpreted as 1 December 2022 in many parts of the world?
The supported translations are listed here:
https://forums.stardock.com/507795/start11-community-translations
While we will make an effort to include other user-created translations, only those will ever be maintained by us regularly. If there are gaps in translations for the supported languages, its because of the fast pace of releases for Start11 of late. Over time, they will be caught up.
If you don't want to wait, there are directions there on how to update the lang files yourself. Just know that any reinstall will overwrite them.
Will we see the ability to disable the slide in animation anytime soon? Last mention I see was in September 2021 https://forums.stardock.com/507205/page/1/
Thank you, I'm really enjoying the product.
Sometimes I want to open several apps at the same time from the start menu.
Is it possible to get a feature that allows us to keep the start menu up and open, even after we have pressed an app? So we can press another app directy without having to go down and press the start menu button again?
Or, a command that if I right click a folder with apps in it, I can order it to open all of the apps just a like a bookmark folder in a browser?
I have made four updates to the Spanish language since the initial version of Start11, and none of my updates have been integrated into new versions.
Regards.
And I have thanked you for all of them - they are very much appreciated. There are just so many things we can get done with each release.
Again, once the next update is released, with some rather bountiful changes, I suspect we will include updated translations.
Thanks for your feedback.
There is already an option to disable the open menu animation in Start11. We put it into v1.0
It is under customize menu visual appearance which is under the settings cog for whatever menu style you picked.
Does your roadmap include support for Windows 11 ARM for use under Parallels Desktop for the Apple M1 processor? Start11 currently fails at startup.

Oh thank you so much! I went looking in 1.1 and 1.0 but some how overlooked this.
Hello! So far its very good
Just a minor "issue" about the font used after you click the letter in the program list. The font used there isn't consistent with the rest of the ui. Also its not centered, but this could be by design and if it is, maybe you can have an option to center it?
Thanks
Rodolfo
I use the Windows 11 menu and I have a folder at the bottom, when I click it the folder expands but the contents are not visible, I have to scroll manually to see it.An auto-scrolling feature would be nice in this case
I don't have any issues... just wanted to say thank you! Start11 is great and you keep finding ways to make it better.
Touchscreen Press and hold (right-click) still doesn't work on start button and taskbar.
Or have the option to change to dd/mm/yy instead of mm/dd/yy.
Absolutely, but I was thinking more in the context of info in the forums (fora?) such as in the changelog at the top of this page.

Issue: Holding Shift and dragging icons on top of each other does not combine them to create a folder group. None of the new features added to the right click menu is available.
Here's a video link to demonstrate the issue:https://gyazo.com/7abfba3d22b7bcf26f3fa7787b6c997f

Please advise. I desperately want the functionality that Start11 offers and I've paid for the license. I'd very much like for this to work properly!
We would need more information on the issue. Is there anything logged in event log which says what is actually crashing?
Did you have a previous version of Start11 working on this computer, or is this the first time you have installed it?
Uninstall Start11, REBOOT, reinstall Start11.
I suspect a file was not replaced correctly.
Edit: Update to the below, but leaving it posted as there is an issue that needs to be looked at. When I tried to add icons to Start11 the app crashed and service restarted and then all my tiles reappeared, so that's solved it.
Just installed the update via the app update, and now all my Windows 10 icons have vanished the panel is blank as in screenshot.
Where are these saved so I can restore as it's a pain to re-organise and remember what was there.
Even the Windows Menu icon is gone, how do I get that back so I can view the Windows 11 start menu. Do I have to add everything to the panel manually again and what will stop this happening at the next update, so can you send me instructions of how I can back this up, I'll take a screenshot too so I can re-org the way I want.
Luke
