I like playing 4x games via a touch screen enabled laptop or remote desktop via Android tablet. Currently GCIV isn't very touch friendly because it requires right clicking. Would be nice to get get an alternate scheme that would be touch friendly. Other than that zooming in and panning works fine. The other last request is a button where you can access the options menu from. Currently you can only do it via the esc key. Thanks.
Seeing this post we just had a discussion about possibly adding this kind of functionality. Unfortunately, for release we cannot justify it as this would fall into scope creep. However, post-1.0 this might be something we can do as it would also be an accessibility feature.
I hope that helps answer your question. We like the idea but everything comes down to time/money especially as we focus on the beta and then 1.0 release. However, this is now on our radar.

Hey, since we are on 1.0 I would like to bump this, so that hopefully it stays in the radar. IMO rough touch functionality would also be useful to support things like the Steamdeck better in the future (although I'm sure that is far in the future because of Epic exclusivity).
Would love to see this as well. I tend to play long games, over a period of days, taking a few turns here and there using my Surface Pro.
