The problem I am facing with Start11 is that sometimes the Start menu goes crazy when I press the Windows key or click on the start 11 icon. It opens up and closes opens up and closes. This can only be resolved by restarting the Explorer.
Especially when I am using StartAllBack at the same time, the issue occures all the time.
I really like the Windows 10 style layout of the start menu, but I want to have the Task bar on the left of the screen and show text. As a developer having multiple Visual Studio or explorer windows open, this is crucial.
Hello,Sorry to hear you are having issues. Try uninstall StartAllBack, reboot and see if the issue still there.

Here's a review from PC World where the reviewer also experienced that the two apps don't get along.

Yes they are kind of wonky with each other. For now I will stick with StartAllBack, as the features there are more important for me. Then again, the Window10 style start menu of Start11 is just amazing! So it hurts a bit.
I thought using Start11 and StartAllBack, would cause conflicts as they are both trying to re create a familiar Start menu from earlier Operating Systems, it sounds like they are both trying to do the same thing but in a slightly alternate way causing what you are seeing.
I am using both on a multi booting system, one SSD with StartAllBack, (which works best with themes) and a second with Start 11 alongside Explorer Patcher allowing me to use Windowblinds 10 working on Win 11, this way i can enjoy the benefits of both Programs with a re boot, just not both together. If you use Macrium Reflect to make a fully working clone of your existing Drive on a cheap small SSD, then using StartAllBack on one and start11 on the other, It's not a perfect solution, but running things like this does allow the use of both , but not together.
Well, I am not installing the apps, so I can play with the apps, they help me be productive. And rebooting makes little sense for me to switch between features.
Thanks anyways.
The two apps don't get along installed parallel. Period. Also my experience.
Thanks. Sad 😂ðŸ˜
