And what do you expect it to do? Menu? When you press the all programs botton don't it open a menu to?
Thank you,

(Example from OpenShell Menu)
I am sorry, but, I guess, that how OpenShell do it. While Start10 do how Windows 7 do it. That is the actual point of Start10 to emulate Windows 7 in Windows 10 environment. no?
The actual point of Start 11 is to make Windows 11 work better. There are already things in it that where in no original OS. I don't get why You are so defensive. I also think Neil would strongly disagree that Start 11 is there to be a Windows 7 and Windows 10 menu clone only. Windows 7 never looked like my above screenshot, but You can make it look like that with Start 11, So why not suggest the all programs menu to have a popup menu? Also You asked for an example and the only way to get one is to post a screeny of OpenShell Menu. Also if You can't stand me, please look another way the next time and let another more open minded supporter answer. Thank You.
I didn't have anything in particular beyond using the Windows 10 style start menu. Though I am happy to report whatever it was - is gone and the time is updating properly now.
Start 11 doesn't honor the "Always show scroll bar" settings for Windows 11. (likely other versions too but I didn't test that). In Settings > Accessibility >Visual effects there is an option to "always show scrollbars". This ensures scroll bars are always shown in their standard width and don't shrink or other wise animate a change in size when you move the pointer over them. The default of hiding the scroll bars with a thinner bar and animating it larger "on the fly" was a HUGE UI regression in my book so I always turn that annoyance off. (Fortunately there is an option to do that) However Start 11 ignores that option and ALWAYS uses the bad behavior.
I have an issue with the Taskbar options in Start11. Whenever I restart my computer, two things happen:
The settings here reverts back to "Large" when I set this to medium.
The second is that the option to "Replace taskbar right-click menu with W10 style one" does not work. I always have to "Restart Explorer" for this feature to work.
With the enabled Start11 search there is the All programs menu item overlaps last used apps list in the Modern and Windows 7 styles.
Also items with long name don't fit into placeholder.
And it would be nice to have feature of menu height changing in Modern and Windows 7 styles.
Allow us to control the framerate at which the animation renders the Start11 menu. Currently it is really slow and I hate it, in fact, it renders slower than the standard Windows 11 and that is a deal breaker for me.
I would love to review this product but at least it must render similarly to the original Windows 11 start menu.
Is that just the open/close animation?
We have identified an inaccuracy in a timer which may have caused it to animate at an inconsistent framerate in some computers.
Dual Monitors stacked verically on top of each other. When right clicking on the primary screen for the volume control or time and date on the taskbar, the context menu appears on the screen above it, instead of on the same screen. My taskbars are top aligned.
In "Windows 11 style" option, scrolling down in "All apps" menu, the "Back" button flows up and disappears, i think should be better if the whole header with button and title "All applications" stays fixed on the top to allow you to return to the previous menu more quickly

There is a weird gray ring around the menu that randomly appears. Restarting the explorer.exe fixes it for some time. Second Picture is the good one.
Then the option "Animate the menu when opening it" seems to be reversed. When opening with it off it seems to bounce. With it on everything seems good.

At the moment because we do not support folders in the Win10 style menu we do not import the Microsoft layout.
Once we have folders we will import it. By the looks of it you do not use folders. On Windows 11 we do import the Windows 11 menu as no folders on that Windows menu.Folders are planned to arrive officially in the 1.1 update but you should see them show up probably in the next beta we do (unless we do a 1.01 which would be small fixes)For centre mode, are you using Curtains? If not is the issue consistent after a reboot?
Would it also be possible to import from Backup Start Menu Layout? (https://www.sordum.org/10997/backup-start-menu-layout-v1-5/)
Is the only program that allows you to backup and restore the configuration of the start menu even on different computers.
Is that just the open/close animation? We have identified an inaccuracy in a timer which may have caused it to animate at an inconsistent framerate in some computers.
Yes exactly. Weird enough I've uninstalled it, then re-installed it and now it is rendering exactly the same as the original Windows 11 start menu, super weird.
I now have the start menu exactly as I wanted so I've purchased it for me and my kid (we both really hate the limitations of the original Windows 11 start menu). Truly exceptional work here on your end.
When will the next version be released? This bug is really annoying and it's been weeks since the last update.
Currently I am unable to add the Recycling Bin to the Start11 start menu. It only shows up in the default windows start menu only. Unable to figure out a work around for this currently. I usually run with a bare blank desktop so being able to pin it back to the start menu with the start11 theme would be a great benefit.
EDIT: was able to find a work around solution. The icon on your desktop controlled through the icon themes does not give the option to ping to start11, but if you use the massively improved search function and find the Recycle Bin, you can pin to start11 from there.
Long names don't fit in the new Windows 11 style menu.
The slowdown with the Win11 start menu animation started happening again on my end. I did nothing, it was like this when I've turned on my PC today.
Any idea how to fix it?
Having an issue with the taskbar where icons are no longer updating when apps are opened and closed, mouseover of an icon shows the wrong window preview, and when clicking on an icon either nothing happens OR it shows and hides the wrong app. Also, if an app has a tray icon and is fully closed, the icon leaves a blank gap and the taskbar runs off the right side of the screen. Below is a link to a screen recording of the icon behavior as well as a screenshot of the tray after I'd closed OBS.
In this example, Discord isnt even running and yet the icon remains but is unclickable.
This is what the taskbar looked like when i closed OBS and it happens when I close any program with a tray icon:

Currently Start11 does not have any features which could cause that as the taskbar buttons are entirely under the control of Microsoft. I am afraid that looks like a bug in Windows 11.
Try this:

Can anyone help me with this, please ?
I have settings set at Medium for the size of the taskbar, but they are Medium on my primary monitor, however are Large on my secondary monitor. Any idea how to sort this out ?
Also, is there a possibility of getting clock on secondary monitor ?
Many thanks.
I'm writing to suggest a change in the the Windows 11 style menu: is it possible to make the "Back" button (in the "All apps" section) remain visible when scrolling down the menu, as in the native Windows 11 menu?
Thanks
