W11 released today, will Start10 keep working or will need an update?
Windows 11 is not being released until October 2021.
It will be available as a beta to insiders next week.
As for Start10, we should have news on that next week.
From just a day of testing, Start 10 is only working on secondary monitors with Displayfusion in Windows 11, not the main monitor.
You should be able to access the menu by using the windows key on your keyboard.
We are aware the new start button on the taskbar is blocking access to Start10 on the primary display.
Found that if I left click on the start icon and bring up Win11 start menu, right click to bring up management menu, and then left click, the Stardock menu appears.
I heard that in open shell if you change the start button then it works so maybe it does the same in Start 10
I can confirm that in Windows 11, the Start10 Icon only shows up on secondary monitors if that task bar is visible. After the update to W11, you may need to turn the secondary task bar back on. On my system it turned it off as part of the update.
Also- Fences and Deskscapes 11 seem to work fine so far.
Guys, we need Start 11 to give use back the latest Windows 10 start menu because that thing in Windows 11 is worse than the Windows 8 Start Menu, which you could at least group tiles together.
I just got the latest dev channel. The Start10 Icon does not appear on my task bar.
there should be a beta channel for start 10/11
Going to test here today, but you can fully disable the new Windows 11 taskbar and start menu and restore the Windows 10 version via registry. I am unsure if MS will allow this tweak to persist in future releases but for now you can do it following these instructions: https://winaero.com/how-to-restore-classic-start-menu-in-windows-11-and-get-back-live-tiles/
WinKey works well on both of my Windows 11 Insider Preview test machines to bring up the Start10 menu. I read about the "shortcut" on TenForums/ElevenForums and lost little or no productivity to Start Menu changes. Nothing like the switch from Win7 to Win8, by a long, long, long shot.

Start 10 does not appear to work with the latest W11 preview release. Fences, Cursor FX, and Multiplicity do seem to work fine.
Honestly I actually like the Windows 11 start menu more than any previous iteration of it (once you unpin all the useless garbage it comes with). Simple, and I don't need the extra stuff I usually do there thanks to them merging everything into the settings menu (which is also finally not garbage).
That DOES Work! Even if the icon does not.
Thank you!
What do you mean by win key or do you need duo monitors
My win key just brings up the 11 menu
Edit Sorted it was simple setting
Start10 not working on my laptop in win11 preveiw but I'll try some of the tips in this thread when I get home.
Start 10 search broke for me after I updated to Windows 11, although this has also happened to me before after a Windows 10 update. Start10 currently only finds about 25% of all items in the start menu.
