I really hope this works in Windows 11 because that start menu looks even worse than what there is now
Hello,
Since it is not official Microsoft release yet. There is no official announcement it yet. But, I am sure Dev Team is looking at it.

I realllly hope the Dev team is working on a compatible menu for win11.. Start10 dose not load on Win11..Windows 11 in its current state dose NOT support Multi-task/start menu's across multi-monitors. This was a major deal breaker for me on rolling back my test bench back to win10. as a multi-monitor users having the task bar on all my monitors is a requirement..I would defiantly be more then happy to QA "start11" as soon as possible
I hope all my programs work with Windows 11, some are not updated anymore but work fine in Windows 10 and the taskbar in 11 looks like crap so hopefully they have more options for that
im not gonna lie.. after sitting down the the new "fly out menu " or as we like to call it ChromeOS/andriod menu its not bad... the lack of not being about to have it on multi displays though is a deal beaker ...
The New taskbar and start menu are both garbage
I like the centered taskbar icons, mainly because I switch between a Mac and Windows. I have only been using the Windows 11 Start button as something I right click to get the management menus. I have been hitting the Windows key to get my Start 10 menu.
I'm hoping the mult-monitor support just hasn't been implemented yet. It is in the taskbar settings, but it is grayed out.
In the mean time I created a small vbscript file (a text file with the extension of .vbs) containing these two lines. I call it menu.vbs. All it does is simulate pressing ctrl-esc.
I then create a shortcut with a target of: C:\Windows\System32\wscript.exe D:\Apps\Shortcuts\menu.vbs
The path should point to the vbs file you created. I change the shortcut icon to the Start 10 icon. I can then pin it to my taskbar and I have an icon that will popup the Start 10 menu.Start 10 icon on Windows 11 taskbar
I also hope it will come a Start 11 for Windows 11
I was updated to Win 11 yesterday while away from my laptop. I *thought* I had disabled auto-update, but I guess not. As others have suggested it alters Start 10. I did a purge and clean install in an effort to retrieve my custom start button. No luck, however the Windows key gets the job done and probably more efficiently. Initial impressions are that Win 11 seems quicker all around including boot and coming out of sleep. The faux Apple OS task bar is moderately amusing. I'm sure in time that the developers will update the code to give a similar if not the same experience with previous "start" versions. If not, I'm content to use the Windows key.
Stardock is working on Start11 - Stay-Tuned - for more info on that .
