I wanted to try something new for a while and started my 30-day Trial of curtains, I only want it to theme my window borders so I disabled Taskbar skinning in the options. To skin the taskbar I use the third-party program StartIsBack++, now I know this is third-party software and Stardock has its own taskbar skinning program with Start10, however I paid for StartIsBack++ before and I want to make use of it still.
The issue is, if Curtains and SiB++ are enabled at the same time when logging in despite taskbar theming being disabled in Curtains, Curtains overrides the theming of SiB++ and forces the default Windows 10 Taskbar style to load.
This can be remedied by restarting explorer.exe after logging in, then SiB++ properly themes the taskbar with its settings and Curtains finally ignores it.
Could this be fixed in a further update maybe in terms of a setting that can be applied that prohibits Curtains to hook into the taskbar whatsoever? If this is possible I'll definitely see me purchasing Curtains before my trial ends.
I verified this is related to Curtains as disabling Curtains fixes the problem.
Thanks for help in advance!
Hello,I have forward your request to the Stardock Support Team for their review and recommendations. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We really do appreciate your feedback, Thanks

Thank you! Replication of this behavior is pretty easy, just have Curtains and StartIsBack++ installed, set SiB++ to use any skin other than the Windows 10 default and then apply any Curtains skin. Now log out and back in or reboot, after login you'll notice the taskbar will not adhere to the SiB++ settings but rather be the Windows 10 default.
Can I get you to test this build for your issue?

This would be the changelog if it works:
Fixes a repaint issue with the taskbar, prevents curtains from interfering with other taskbar controlling applications when taskbar skinning is disabled (reboot required after changing)

Wow I didn't expect such a quick fix for such a specific issue, 1.19 indeed fixes it, thank you very much! I'll definitely buy a license now once my trial ends.
And then I'll hope that acrylic blur behind title-bars will be possible one day but I understand that's not an easy one
Seriously though, thanks!
You are most welcome and thanks for the feedback.
