Every time I reboot my laptop, I need to reactivate all Stardock products. Needless to say, this is annoying to the point where I have considered deleting them all. Any advise would be welcome

Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time. A "Run" dialog box will pop up, please paste the path below into the "Open" field and press OK.
%ProgramData%\Stardock\
In the folder that pops up, you should see a folder named PRODUCTNAME. Please delete this folder and all of its contents.
After you have deleted that folder, please attempt to activate once again and it should succeed without any errors.
Note : 'PRODUCTNAME" is what Stardock Software you having issue with. If it Fences, delete the "Fences3" folder etc etc.

hello, i have the same problem and i tried to delete the folder in %programdata%\Stardock for the productname but after view days , i have exactly the same problem again.

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.
For Start10, when it is prompting you to activate, if you go here:
C:\ProgramData\Stardock\Start10
Note, that is ProgramData, not Program Files. If you do not see ProgramData, enable it:
Do you have a License.sig there? If not, and you activate, does it then?
If it asks you again - sometime later as it has - is it then missing again?
If so, I would like to know if your AV app is quarantining it.

i had this problem yesterday (tuesday 9 march) and i have this problem with last version of Start10 (1.96) and Fences3 (3.0.9.11). I don't have this problem in one month but now from 2 weeks each 2-3 days i must to redo the licence for these products
I tried your suggestion. Now I receive an error 212 cannot activate product error.
One of the apps you are trying to activate, with your Object Desktop key, is ObjectDock. ObjectDock is not part of Object Desktop - use its key:

Yes, I did notice that, and rectified that. After rebooting several times, deleting folders from appdata three times, I have gotten everything to activate. Hopefully they will stay that way.
When i activate my products , i use the method to activate by my email, i don't introduice the licence number.
I use this method from many years and never I have this problem and now from 2 weeks , i must to reactivate each 2-3 days

I am using the same method as what you mentioned above. And I have also very recently need to re-activate all my Stardock product, since I have to refresh/reset my Windows 10 setup. And it has been 4days since then, no re-activation needed for me so far. So I think the delete folder solution does work. Since I was also informed that by Support that there was something done in Stardock end to resolve this issue very recently. I'll forward it again to Support.

Please go the that folder again "%ProgramData%\Stardock\" and check if "License.sig" still in there. Usually it will ask for activation again if that file is missing. I believe something has delete it off. Most probably your antivirus or security software. Please check on this. And if possible try to set your AV to whitelist this folders.

I have an activation problem with Start10.
I have to activate it every time I switch on the PC. It began few days ago. Start10 version 1.96, Windows 10 Pro, 20H2 (19042.804)
I tried all the mentioned solutions, but nothing works
Make sure to re try reply #12 with a reboot with AV software shut down , please
As I wrote, I'VE TRIED ALL THE MENTIONED SOLUTIONS !
The file licence.sig is still on on its place and the software asks me to register !

The problem is not the AVP software but something is wrong with the version 1.96. As I wrote, I've tried all the solutions and nothing worked. So I went back with version 1.80 and it works fine. It maybe the software problem or the Windows issue.

There are many things that have been discussed to try, including AV and deleting of the License.sig. We need to know that you have checked \ tried these things.
Everyone's activation problems seem to be a littler different.
I find my problem why many time the licence key file was deleted.
I have a program AVG Tuneup, each 2-3 days clean on my computer the "cookies, temporary files, trash, history of windows, cache windows, ...." and from a new update of this product, this software delete all the folder c:\programdata\stardock. I open a ticket to AVG to ask why they delete this folder.
