1.) Have any (I tested a few) non-default theme set with WindowBlinds.
2.) Launch Chrome with the --disable-windows10-custom-titlebar parameter.
3.) Maximize the window. So far so good - the titlebar is still there.
4.) Restore the window. Bug: The titlebar is now transparent, and the only fix is to close and reopen the window.
This makes the --disable-windows10-custom-titlebar basically unusable in combination with a WindowBlinds theme. Any chance of a fix? Thanks.
Hello,Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need few more information.
ThanksBasj,Stardock Community Assistant.
Windows 10. I tested builds 2004 (19041.746) and 20H2 (19042.804).
Using the latest versions of Chrome and WindowBlinds.
I also tested in a VM with new installs of everything to confirm it wasn't just some other setting on my laptop.
Several themes tested: "The Captain", "True Classic", "Windows Classic Theme" (and some others I forget). I don't think it matters - just has to be some non-default theme.
100% monitor scaling, and tested various resolutions including 1920x1080.
I'm pretty sure you will see the problem if you try it.
Great, thanks for the information. I have forward your problem/question to Stardock Support Team for their assistance. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We appreciate your feedback and patience.

Any update about this issue?
I seems to be getting worse, the title bar is transparent with no buttons at all at launch.
Windows 10 21H2 x64 / WindowBlinds 10.89 / Style: Lantana / 1366x768 scaling 100%
Chromium 96.0.4664.110 (ungoogled-chromium)
Chrome 96.0.4664.45
And there is no problem with Edge (Chromium based):
Or with Brave;
It's really annoying.... Why Chrome and Chromium are not properly skinning and Edge & Brave are?
Can we have an update about this, please?
Thanks
Hello,Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, it look okay on my system. But, do note that my chrome is vanilla without any extension on it.
Basj,Stardock Community Assistant.
Because this is base Chromium and Chrome problem, not WB or Edge. Go to Chromium or Google forum.
I tried with a new profile and it's ok too. I didn't think about that, so i'll have to check which extension is causing that. I could not imagine an extension could interfere like that...
Thank you.
Wow, what a kind and useful comment ! Amazing
So i've discovered that the problem was not related to extensions but to hardware acceleration, which was disabled in Chrome settings (System). It has to be enabled for WindowBlinds to work.
Testing with a clean install of WB 11 and the Windows Classic theme, the problem happens even without maximizing the window first.
(Chrome is configured to have hardware acceleration.)
