I installed this and configured it on one computer, then changed my mind and never configured a second one. Is there a way to shut it off, or must I uninstall it altogether?
Hello,Sorry to hear you are having issues. I believe there is a "Unload Multiplicity" when you right click the Multiplicity icons on system tray.

That's the problem- there aren't any. Down in the lower right corner of the screen is a little white box that says Multiplicity, but I can't click on it- it doesn't do anything. I also get a bright red border around my screen that comes and goes. All that goes away if I stop all Multiplicity processes in Task Manager. I need to stop Multiplicity from starting up every time I start Windows and I can't seem to be able to find a setting in Multiplicity to do this.
If you wish to stop it from starting up on boot. I think, you could disable it in Task manager. Try this. Right click on Taskbar -> Task Manager -> Startup -> Look for Multiplicity -> right click on it -> Disable. That should be it.
Thank you,

I tried. It does not show up in any of the categories in the startup tab in Task Manager.
Hello,I have forward your problem/question to Stardock Support Team for their assistance. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We appreciate your feedback and patience.
The red line is because you have told Multiplicity to put a line around the computer with focus.
I am unsure what that white box saying Multiplicity is, are you able to post a screenshot of it?
Regarding stopping Multiplicity, you can run services.msc and find Multiplicity Service and set it to manual and stop it if you wish. Multiplicity is designed to start with your computer and act as a native feature (it even works from the login screen) which is why it starts up as it does, but changing the above settings will stop it starting up automatically.
