When pressing Win Key + s (search) after the new update to Windows 20H2, it goes full screen, no close button (only escape) and all white/gray. Anyone know how to avoid that? Looks awful, and who on earth need that on top of everything else on screen.

mine is full screen like that and I'm on version 2004. It isn't new to 20H2

I haven't had this until this last update. Why on earth it behaves/looks like this, is beyond me...
Same thing here with full screen search.
I tried everything to change it. ALT+ENTER, the search settings, everything I could find. Nothing worked.
I searched to see if anyone had any ideas about this, and nothing.
Then I used the feedback link in the full screen search to complain about it, and state that it was crap that there was no option to change this.
Then magically after that it was no longer full screen when pressing WIN+S. It's now back to the original small window.
So now ... I don't trust Windows anymore. They're watching man... THEY'RE WATCHING!!!!
I'm on 2004 search looks normal on 2 computers. Don't even know how to get it to full screen.
Click the three dots in the upper right of the search window and at the bottom of the drop down menu is a feedback link

Anyway I guess it doesn't matter as this morning it went back to fullscreen.
I guess they're watching, and they don't like being noticed! The truth is out there... and it doesn't want to be seen.
I guess versions of Windows might matter here.
