It`s still happening..Deskscapes 10 freezes my computer, making it unusable.It took me weeks to find the culprit. I removed all the animations, Deskscapes 10, and now my computer runs perfectly. Something to do with the animations.I complained about this before.It has not been fixed! It`s such a great program, can ruin your whole year.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need more information on your system.
1) Windows version. Please use Winver.exe for full Windows version numbers.
2) Deskscapes 10 versions.
3) What have you done so far to troubleshoot the issue you are having.

Using latest vers of Deskscapes 10(July 22 2020.) Still freezes!
I had my P.C. checked by factory authorized techs(Last week).Not a hardware issue.Software issue . i.e. Your software Deskscapes 10 This problem has not changed since I last complained in 2019! As mentioned earlier, upon complete removal of Deskscapes 10. Problem solved. I really like the program,but cannot take all the freezing issues.Very frustrating, and time consuming on restarting File explorer, time after time.
Is the Freezes happened on all dreams? or curtain dreams? Everytime or after sometimes etc etc. A better explanation might help.

It happens on all animated(Video) dreams. I have a lot to choose from. Doesn`t make any difference to which one. .
Have you tried to change the settings here and with what results:
Sorry.But I am not going to reinstall it, to see if the settings changes make any difference.The more installs/uninstalls that are made, means more corruption of files.This program was obviously not tested thoroughly, before release. I have Deskscapes 8 in my ther Windows 8.1. No problems. Works perfectly.
Installing and uninstalling software should not cause corruption of any files.
With regards to the issues you are having, it sounds like something on your system doesn't like the newer EVR video support. The most likely explanation is video driver issues.
Deskscapes 8 uses VMR-9 for video which is a different system which doesn't use as much hardware acceleration. As JanOscar shows in his screenshot, you can change DS10 into that mode if you wish (though MP4 files would still use EVR as VMR-9 doesn't support those)
Just to support what Neil and Jan said above , I probably use Deskscapes more than anyone on the site both making them and running them and as you see in the screenshot below no problem running on Win10 v2004. Try it and if still needed as Neil said try updating video drivers ..
I reinstalled Descapes 10. Tried all the different settings. the problem still exisits. I have Intel & Nvidia installed.(factory) Maybe you can suggest a version to get this to work.Thanks.
Check for the latest Nvidia updates !!

All Done . Successful.I removed the existing Nvidia Video Driver, and installed a differenet version. Just had to remake my already made "Dreams; files. No freezing issues, and all play well. Thank you so much for all your support.Please close ticket.
