Computer monitors have become much bigger and the prices have become quite more reasonable than they used to. I picked up a nice 34" widescreen for just a couple of hundred bucks. It's not 4K, but HD has been working quite well for me. I do have a 4K touchscreen laptop, and that is certainly nice to have when working with images and video.
But the question today is what size wallpaper resolution do you typically look to download? Do you even look to see what resolutions are available?
HD 1920x1080 ....... 1 - 25" Monitor Desktop
2560 x 1440, 2 BenQ's 25"
2560 x 1440, I have two 27" BenQ's.
Oh, and as far as checking wallpapers for what resolution they come in, I don't bother checking as I can just change the size on my end in most cases.
1920 x 1080 27" Samsung & 40" TCL TV
2560x1440 ....ASUS ROG Swift PG279Q IPS 27" LCD Monitor...
Main monitor is a 43" - ASUS XG438Q 3840 x 2160
Then there is my 35" widescreen ASUS ROG STRIX XG35VQ 3440 x 1440 and a 27" which is a local brand, Voxicon D27QO 1440 x 2560 in portrait mode.
And yes, I get the right size for the intended monitor, can't be asked to resize and adjust them so searching on the size I want them on.
Dell 1920x1200
LG 4K monitors 3840 x 2160
2-1920x1080 1-1920x1200
2560x1440 HP 27"
2560x1440 on 3 x 32 inch samsung curves.
I currently use 1920x1200 and am hoping to soon upgrade to 2560x1440.
1920x1080 on a Samsung Curve
2560 x 1600. 30" Apple Cinema
and
2560 x 1440. 27" Dell Ultrasharp
I ideally look for these sizes but if I like the wallpaper I'll use the smaller sizes if no option...or resize larger ones...
Thank you to all who answered. It's been very helpful!
Not sure I should say looking at all these posts. 1680x1950.
Dual monitors at both work and home....
Home:
2560 x 1440 - 2 x 32" HP
Work:
2560 x 1440 - 32" HP
1920 x 1200 - 24" Dell
I always try to use native resolution wallpaper per monitor
I usually get the largest size available within reason. Provides a bigger canvas to work with for cropping, resizing, etc. Yep, I play with my food.
3440x1440
Is this a combined res, alphabyte? Or a single monitor?
I also use 4K, on my 4K TV. There are lots of 4K walls here.
3440x1440 here, too. 1 Monitor LG Ultrawide.
Single monitor, ultrawide screen. Was skeptical at first whether or not this format would work for me, but really love the extra space for multiple windows.
I have one of those, I don't even know the res....lol.
EDIT: 2160 x 1440.
1920X1080 on a 24" LG
Just a quick tally so far.
1920x1080 - 5
1920x1200 - 4
2560x1440 - 7
2560x1600
3440 x 1440 - 3
3840 x 2160 - 2
