I had a similar issue with my wireless keyboard and mouse, but it wasn't Stardock programs causing the issue. After researching it, I found that USB external drives were causing an issue with the USB dongle signal to the mouse and keyboard. As soon as I plugged in a corded mouse and keyboard the issue was corrected.
Just thought I'd mention it in case it's a similar issue rather than the Stardock apps. I had just installed my Stardock apps when my issue first presented itself, but uninstalling Deskscapes and other apps did not resolve the issue, hence my research and discovery leading me to try a corded mouse and keyboard.
Hope this helps.
Ditto here Mark!
Thing is, it never happened in Win 7 or 8/8.1, just in Win 10. It's another reason I don't like the OS, but what can you do when MS has withdrawn support for XP and Win 7, with 8/8.1 next on the abandoned list. MS has us by the short n' curlies and there's not much we can do other than go over to Linux or Apple OSes, and to be frank, I'm not ready to do that on my main machine.
Linux is still not ready for mainstream computing, and for mine, neither is Apple's Mac offering. Win 10 is still better than either of those, but still a far cry from what should be a mainstream OS. It was released way too soon and was never really out of beta when the public was offered free updates from Win 7 or 8/8.1. It still isn't out of beta as frar as I'm concerned, same with Jafo, but that's what we're stuck with until MS truly addresses the ongoing issues with Win 10 and properly fixes them.
Thanks for the responses. Here is my position. I work for an AEC firm and have to test and handle installations on over 500 different applications, services, cloud environments, servers, etc. This covers the whole gambit of our entire industry. I have never had any issues because of my wireless keyboard/mouse. All of the other Startdock's apps work without any issue or performance problems. Fences and Multiplicity work great for my application! As soon as I install only Deskscapes and apply any setting, my keyboard doesn't respond. As soon as I uninstall and reboot, everything is back to normal. So I think it is strictly related to the Deskscapes. Somehow just that program is interfering with the wireless USB communication.
Well, I don't use Deskscapes (not my cup of tea), and I had the problem (wireless mouse/keyboard) as mentioned above, but, no issues with a wired mouse, that's just me, apparently everyone's system are like people, they are different in every way, have a great day, everyone.
Hahaha, right? Deskscapes just lightens my mood. The other tools are pretty nice. It would just be nice to figure out what that bug is, so I can be happier at work! Isn't that an oxymoron!
