Greetings,would there be people from Europe that like non PvP games at all? If there are some, would they be willing to participate in 4+ hour gaming sessions on large maps with mods or without?

What sort of "mines" will you be using?
I use them only for the homeworld and mostly TEC ones. But you may find that mines won't be the main issue...
