Hello Folks
i am loosing it. I should have been able to finish off my foes hours and playing hours ago. I have been pounding on this game for many hours and my durantium seems to be my problem. I am kicking a**, but I just cannot finish because I have no durantium. There is almost none to be found on the map in the first place, and I also seem to have a durantium leak. I try to build it up so I can buy legionnaires and take out the opposition. I look at the durantium icon on the top and it say I am generating 1.20 per week. As soon as I gather 2 it disappears, yet there is nothing there showing a weekly draw. I even spent a crap load of hard to accumulate money and bought 30 durantium from the market. Next thing I know it is all gone!
this game is getting tedious because I have to wait 10 weeks to buy a General so I can have 5 legionnaires. They only last a couple few planets, then it’s wait for turn week ten to buy another general. Administrators are becoming an issue as well because, of course, my transports die when my legionnaires are attrited to nothing.
is there somewhere I can read my weekly durantium expenditures, or is this a glitch?
You have auto-upgrade set on at least one planet. Thus you are auto-building factories, etc with the durantium. You can manually cancel upgrades and get your durantium back.
Thank you!
There has been a long standing request to add an option to the game to globally turn off auto-upgrading for precisely this reason, but it has never been implemented. I manually turn off auto upgrade for every planet I colonize or invade.
I really wish SD would pay attention to this request. It is one of the biggest Pains ITA in the game.
Having both governor options planet based, and globally is what I suggested before this game came out. Suggesting the idea based on 2s governor's. I also say this is a good idea.
I just never research the tech that upgrades factories it is the best way to make sure you don’t accidentally spend your precious resources. You can manually turn off each planet but god forbid if you can’t find what planet is using them when you have +90 planets
Make it a habit that when you got a new planet, you go into Govern screen and turn that off. But seriously, why can't we get an in-game option to default that thing to off? I would say majority of the player hate this bloody thing. Wanting it to begone and for how long we still didn't get it.
Another vote for having the auto-upgrade a global switch. Not sure why this hasn't been done yet, it has been a complaint for a very long time.
I have to chime in here to say I totally agree! Seems simple to implement (not that I have a clue about their coding or what's involved to change it...) so I sincerely wish Brad and team notice this thread and attempt it.
Yeah the ability to globally shut off auto-upgrades has been requested for literally years now. Adding my vote for it, again.
