Are there any plans to update this product for Windows 10 support. The hang issue is most annoying. I am baffled that an update has not been released for Windows 10.
Hello,I have forwarded your questions/problems to the Stardock Support team for their assistance. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We appreciate you feedback and patience.
Thank You,BasjStardock Community Assistant.
Would be awesome, same problem here.
Any news? Will there be a W10 version?
So far there is no news on it yet.
Thank you,
BasjStardock Community Assistant.
I have all my docks set to autohide and when attempting to mouse-over the edge of the screen, icons either hang or are EXTREMELY SLOW to pop-up (appear). I use the bounce effect for the icons, and sometimes the icon I've clicked on will remain suspended "up in the air", instead of returning to it's original position. Aside from this persistent issue, everything else seems to work OK using Windows 10. I've used Windows 10 compatibility troubleshooter and tried compatibility with Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista & Windows XP SP3 and got the same results. I also tried slowing down the "pop-up" effect, also tried changing icon quality from best to worst with no difference. Ordinarily I might think it had something to do with my graphics card, but it worked fine with Windows 7 SP1 (I'm using the same computer; I merely upgraded to Windows 10 a couple of days ago using my OEM's recovery media). Hope this description helps Stardock troubleshoot. PLEASE fix or offer a workable solution, thanks! (Disclaimer: I've never posted in a forum before, so if I replied to the wrong poster, then my apologies.)
@jhmotjr
I don't think there will be a solution or fix to your problem in the foreseeable future, because Object Dock is not supported under Windows 10. You may get it to work though, depending on your setup and the contents of the dock(s).
I also would like to voice my desire to get an update for windows 10. I just upgraded my hardware and also went to windows 10 and purchased a new license (as I could not find my old one anymore or was on a very old free version) because this program is rather important to me.
So, please make it properly react to mouse overs - on my system the menus react very slowly initially, but then, on repeated mouse-overs, react normally. After a while they seem to have forgotten how to behave. I did disable the Aero function as suggested by another poster, but that did not make a difference for me.
Any News Of A update Yet. THANKS
Don't know if this would help, but on another Forum (https://forums.wincustomize.com/498658/page/1/#3771076)
This is what they did (for Objectdock), if your subject is related to Objectdock, if not, then disregard this comment, have a good day y'all.
I don't understand why people keep asking this question. Objectdock works perfectly on Windows 10. Haven't ever had an issue.
In all honesty Tom, I've never tried using it on Win 10, so I don't know, what I know, is what I've been reading on the Forums, some have issues, and then some don't, go figure.
My problem with OD was in hiding the docks. They would work a couple of times then they wouldn't open or close and then they would freeze, turn white and I got a prompt telling me OD is not responding. So I ditched it for the other "one" and imported all my OD skins.
It may also be a difference in which version is being used. I had issues with both.
In case anyone is interested there were 2 versions of 2.20.
Wow, that is something that should have never happened ALMonty.
Thanks for the link Don. It worked for me!
I thought all along it was my PC.

You're welcome.
Many thanks Don working perfekt now thanks for the link.
Glad you it works for you.
I tried the technique of unchecking Aero peek, but it didn't help any.
Hang seems to be gone with this "fix" using Win 10 Pro 64 bit 1909(18363.778) with ObjectDock V2 2.20.0.862 one Quick Launch and one Tab dock.
Wish I had the luck you do; I just installed the "Patch Tuesday" Windows Update today for my Windows Pro 64bit (v1909, build 18363.836), and ObjectDock still hangs occasionally on mouseover. After scrolling & viewing my original post, I just noticed I'd never mentioned it, but I'm using ObjectDock v2.20.0.862. I'm hoping that whatever the issue is that I'm having, it's something that might be easily remedied with only minor tweaking of the Obj Dock code; here's hoping Stardock will have a little spare time & take a quick look at it..
Spoke too soon and not satisfied with ObjectDock so I have removed it until it is offered specifically for Win 10. I hope Stardock works on this because I liked it on Win 7
