Multiplicity is the best virtual KVM solution I have used so far. The experience is seamless with no lag. The only problem is that is does not appear to be possible to use multiple monitors at the same time in KVM mode.
I have two displays on my desk. The secondary PC I am trying to control is hooked up to both monitors on their secondary display connections so the display configuration is the same on both PCs. When connecting to the secondary PC using Multiplicity, I need to be able to see both displays at the same time on my primary PC. It looks like I can switch between them, but I cannot view both at the same time.
Is this possible with Multiplicity? If not, is this a feature that will be coming in the future? I require this functionality for work and solutions like RDP are too laggy, even on my local LAN, to be useful. I want to avoid investing in a costly hardware KVM solution if possible, but I cannot find anything that supports multiple displays that has the performance of Multiplicity.
Not at this time, no. If it comes, it is very likely to be in a new major version - not in the 3.x line.

Just got the app today.
I have setup my Home PC and installed on my work PC, I have 3 screens, and in the setup I have my home PC in the middle and my work PC to the left, now I understood that I could simply move my courser to the left and my monitor on the left would be that of my Work PC...
After reading the forum's I think ! I have to have my monitor on the left to show that of my work device? which is ok (need to test), but what if I want my work device on more that one monitor? the grid thing shows my PC (in the middle) and my Work device is on the left, can I not add it to the grid on my right?
You need to make a clear distinction between the two connection options in Multiplicity.
'Seamless' connections are for when both PCs exist on the same desktop and you can see their actual monitors.
'KVM' connections are remote connections that are just that, to PCs not typically at the same desk and may, or may not, have monitors connected to it.

Been about a year now - surely this on the table now in a update soon?
Adding my vote in after patiently waiting years
Primary and Secondary PCs both have dual monitors. Would love to be able to use both screens simultaneously.

I am looking for this also, I use the product all the time. But do require this to be able to do more, it would be a very much appreciated update.
My vote too. I tested for a few minutes and didn't find the one solution that works for me, so I'll leave this purchase for a few years from now
what I want is "simple" from my home PC, connect to my office PC (work) which has TWO screens, so I want to see my two screens which are at a distance.
Is this planned in the future version, and if so when? In this period of virus, I think that more and more people want to work remotely and see their two (or three) screens ...
Sorry for my bad English
Also voting for this feature. I am hoping to be able to use both of my monitors for both of my computers. The current setup works, but I would rather not have to use my host computer as a browser machine to keep work and play things separated.
It would be less ideal but if anyone knows of a way to "extend" your display from the client machine to the host to at least get access to 1 more monitor that would be nice as well. I guess we'll just have to wait though..
Hello. I'm an Object Desktop subscriber and use Multiplicity daily with my Notebook and Desktop Host PC.
Have a desktop computer with 2 monitors. I would like to be able to access it via remote connection (KVM) and be able to access both screens simultaneously with two monitors on the notebook.
I want to be able to use two monitors like I do using Microsoft RDP.
Please deploy this feature soon!
I would like to access Desktop Host PC with 2 monitors from Notebook + 1 monitor, accessing both Host PC monitors Simultaneously with both screens.
Deploy the functionality the same way KDP does!
What is the status of adding this feature?I also have the same need. I've looked at multiple products for such a solution. Any Desk is the only other product that comes close but has other limitations that makes Multiplicity the better product (solution). Any Desk does however accomplish the multiple monitor issue by allowing multiple connections to the same secondary PC in separate independent windows which can be set to look at different monitors. This seems to be a simple programming change to Multiplicity by allowing multiple connections.
Something is in the oven but nothing about it is 'Simple' 😉
