Switched on the PC this morning and I can no longer click through to folders within Folder portals. If I double click a folder inside a portal, it opens up the folder in a normal window instead of opening up the folder within the portal. Have I nudged a setting somewhere by accident or is there something else being screwy?
Hello,
Please check if you did not accidentally locked your Fences. Right click on desktop -> View -> Lock Fences. Please unlock it.
Thank you,

Today September 20 the portal folder works. I installed a program called File Center recently and so I worked around it back through windows file explorer and it allows me to proceed with the portal folder hunt. I do not know if this is the reason it works now--or that Stardock fixed it overnight. Anyway it works now through explorer files.
Stop folder portal navigation from opening in a new Explorer window
Please ensure that all 3 are done to stop folder portal navigation from opening up in a new Windows Explorer window:
1 from hamburger menu on folder portal title — select/check "Allow navigation"
2 In Windows File Explorer options change folder and search options under "General" tab — select/check "Open each folder in the same window" & click Apply
3 In Windows File Explorer options change folder and search options under "View" tab — unselect/uncheck "Launch folder windows in a separate process" & click Apply
YES!!!!!!!
Step 3 was the key!

P.S. I have to change the Step 3 setting after every single Windows update. 🙄
