My Weather Docklet has not been working on ObjectDock for the past two weks. I have been watching two other threads on the same topic (not finding a way to reply in those). So, I created my own post (please move this into one of those, if there is a way?).
Do we know if there is any update or news from the ObjectDock Devs on a resolution for the Weather Docklet??
Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues.
There is no weather docklet applet pending for Object Dock.

Actually, there /is/ already a weather docklet app. It is on the ObjectDock currently. It is jsut having issues right now.
I am jsut checking to see if there is any update from the ObjectDock Devs on a resolution.....
As I understand Accuweather is not offering this service any longer. At this time there are no updates for ObjectDock.
Oh, ok. I did not know the program had been duscontinued. So, then I need to find a replacement.....?? Any suggestions??

Accuweather is still working just fine on the HTC Home Weather App.
That looks like a totally different dock program. That is /not/ what I am looking for. I like ObjectDock. I only want a new weather app to go on it.
I can tell you right here and now that's not gonna happen. ObjectDock has been abandoned and the weather docklet is dead for good.
Looks almost the same to me.
Some people need to stop saying that it is an accuweather problem, I can tell you right now that it is not. Accuwather is still working fine on other widgets such as xWidget and as Tom mentioned, the HTC Home Weather App.I also know that accuweather still offers the service so the issue is that Stardock does not want to invest the money that it cost for the api licences, makes sense for them because Objectdock is dead as is DesktopX that uses a weather feed. Here is proof that accuweather still offeres the service, https://developer.accuweather.com/packages
Maybe someone can explain why Stardock continues to sell software that they no longer support.
The other solution would be to update the software that uses weather feeds to make them more user friendly such as giving an option for using your own api licences, accuweather and a bunch of other weather providers have a free api key option for personal use.
Wow! I just visited the Stardock site and they are not even offering ObjectDock as an option any longer?? Bummer..... :-/
Yes they are. Now it’s $2.49 to buy.
Any word on when the Weather Docklet will be restored for Object Dock ?
There is no plan to restore it , sorry ..In Windows 10 down on the taskbar I have a
little White Sun looking icon and click on it it and it is a Great Weather option pops up .
Any chance to contact developers to suggest making a docklet that displays weather parsing the information from the WU (Weather Underground) services?

Thank you for giving such an intelligent answer to everyone's question. Especially if they actually read it. What is amazing to me about all of this is that Stardock isn't even addressing this formally to everyone that has purchased this software. Winstep is looking more appealing more and more.
Actually there is a post somewhere that StarDock did address the situation of ObjectDock and said they will not be updating this program.
Then I missed it.

Désolé de devoir vous le dire, mais la météo sur ObjectDock n'a pas fonctionné depuis des années et je ne pense pas que Stardock va la mettre à jour.
Sorry to have to tell you, but the weather on ObjectDock has not worked for years and I do not think Stardock is going to update it.
Yes, the gentleman above is correct. It has not worked for years, and Stardock stopped developing it. If you want a docket, use this one. I migrated to it after ObjectDock stopped working. It's far better, in my humble opinion, and I have not had any issue so far. The dock is from Windstep.
