I'm new to trying Tiles as part of my Windows 10 Object Desktop suite so please be gentle.
I've checked to ensure I am running the latest version. I've labeled and configured multiple Tiles. I've moved Tiles to the edge of my second monitor (though it now thinks it is on monitor #1). I've been in and out of every option and searching this board but cannot find consistent answers to my questions so Im posing them here.
1. I pinned web address shortcuts to a Tile, but they disappeared as soon as I closed the browser. The only remedy I came up with was to create a Windows folder, save browser shortcuts in there, and then drag each shortcut to the Tile. Is there an easier way to accomplish this or a way that will include the window characteristics (size, shape, new window versus new tab, etc.) ?
2. I remain unable to pin some but not all Windows 10 applications to a Tile and have them stay there after the window is closed. For example, I was able to drag Google Chrome to a Tile but not the new Audible app. What is the secret to a consistent outcome?
3. Is there a way to sort the permanent shortcuts in each Tile? Is there a way to keep permanent shortcuts of closed apps on top and open shortcut thumbnails on the bottom or vice versa?
If this package is only intended i.e. useful, for categorizing open windows on my desktop, I would have to reorganize and reload my TILES each time I power up. I have spent hours on this Tiles app and so I am deeply hoping that is not the case and that there are straightforward helpful answers.
THANK YOU in advance for your help!
I think I'm having the same issue. I'm a long time OD user, but Tiles is really frustrating. I submitted a support request and it basically came back, we don't support via email, check the FAQs. Whatever.
I have my open windows show up. I can pin them (right-click and choose "Show all process from this window on this page" and every time you launch that app, it will show up on "that page". Nice.
BUT the problem I'm having is with dragging apps to the "shortcut" / "link" area of each page. Those show up sometimes. It is REALLY frustrating. Other times they disappear. They must still be there, because re-adding them to the page shows something like this:
* First time: MyApp
* Second time: MyApp (1)
* Third time: MyApp (2)
etc.
Product is pretty useless without this feature working correctly. I'm opening a separate thread in case that is not what you are talking about.

I had already read that. I can't seem to attach screenshots here, but what I'm seeing is that the links just go away. I drag a bunch of shortcut icons to my page "General" I created. I have four other pages I created. Some will retain them and some will not.
One note. I did notice that if you shift drag a window to the same page as the link shortcuts, and choose to pin the app windows to that page, when the app is launched, the window shows up and the icon link disappears. Then when you close the app the icon re-appears.
But I'm still seeing some where I go into the page (no windows open) and the link icons I had added don't show up anymore. SOMETHING must be there because if I re-add the links to the page, they get incremented: Link, Link (1), Link (2), Link (3).
Would you Please try this PURGE: http://sd.stardock.com/zubaz/apps/Purge_Tiles.bat
Reboot and ReInstall then report here , please.
Yup. That fixed it.
