when I search for some programs (for instance "Wordpad" or "Snipping tool") using your search bar - at the bottom of the Start 10 menu - then NO results turn up.
When I do the same search. directly in the Windows 10 menu (or in Cortana) then the results DO work properly.
For example if I type sn (searching for the Snipping tool) in YOUR search bar I get no results. If I type sn at the standard Windows 10 menu (or in Cortana) then the "Snipping Tool" IS one of the results.
This means that there is NO problem with Windows' search. The problem is only with Start10 search.
Please advise

Since my initial post I re-indexed* Windows' search, and the problem was solved.
* ( control Panel | Indexing Options | Advanced | Rebuild)
