For Windows Explorer, Groupy tabs have full path as the label for tab and most of the path is cut off or not shown due to the size limitation of the tab, as a result, it is impossible to determine the path of the tab before clicking it, which is important otherwise it is a trial and error clicking all tabs until you get to the tab you want to open. It would be nice to be able to have an option/configurable setting to show either entire path or just the folder name and also to show the full path text in addition to preview on mouse over or mouse hover on the tab.
Hello,I have forwarded your report to the Stardock support team for their review and recommendations. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We really do appreciate your feedback, thanks.
Hi, exactly same request.
You need an option for Folder Name Only on the tab titles.Hovering over the tab should reveal it's full path (as well as image preview)
Not implemented after a couple of years, should be an easy update I would have thought.
I'm looking for a tabbed browser to help speed things up.If I can't see a tab's contents until I click on it it defeat the object a bit.Running on trial at the moment, would need this functionality to purchase I think.
Thanks.
If you go to Folder Options>View and uncheck "Display the Full Path in the Title Bar," Groupy will only display the Folder Name in the tab.
