1. I guess groupy tabs get draw faster compare the windows since groupy tabs is just a white/gray tabs compare to the complex windows.
2. I think that behavior inherit from windows itself. Once you close a max windows, when you reopen it.. it will go back to max. While if you close a windowed one it will get that same size and position when you reopen it.
This is the one that's bugs me the most so far. I know it's trivial, but it's kinda jarring once you see it. Because then you notice it every time.
