This continues my list of bugs in Crusade.
It Is Possible to Build More Than One of One-Per-Race Planetary ImprovementsThis includes the following:Central BankComputer CoreGalactic Mainframe
It seems to need to follow this sequence to work:1. Build one. Now I can't build another one.2. Capture a planet that has one, giving me two. I still can't build another one.3. Lose any planet that has one, giving me one. Now I can build another one.4. Build another one.5. Capture a planet that has one, giving me three.6. Lose any planet that has one, giving me two. Now I can build another one.7. Repeat the building, losing and capturing to build as many as desired.
If I have one in a build queue and capture one, the one in the queue is deleted. It doesn't matter if it is the first one or a later one. To use this exploit properly, finish building one before capturing one. I adjusted my capturing and building tactics to take advantage of this. I had three Galactic Mainframes on one planet, all in a triangle. The bonuses were large.
Sometimes Missions in the Shipyard Builds Wrong Ships
When building a mission by double-clicking on the one to be built, sometimes a random ship, usually from the favorites list, is added to the build queue instead of the mission. I build Treasure Hunt the most, so I see it there the most, but I have seen it on other missions. I have seen several different ships from my favorites list used instead of the mission. I see no obvious reason why this happens or why it chooses whatever wrong ship it chooses. One time I saw it happen, so I double-clicked again and got the same wrong ship again. I did it two more time with the same result, then it worked right the fifth time. It works right about 99% of the time, then it doesn't. I'm almost certain I saw this happen to Brad in one of the Humans vs Multiverse videos, but he didn't notice it. I'm not sure which one it was, so I'm still looking.
Molecular Fabricator
The Molecular Fabricator is one per planet. After it is upgraded to an Industrial Replicator, it is possible to build another Molecular Fabricator on the planet. I haven't checked to see if the second Molecular Fabricator can be upgraded to a second Industrial Replicator, then keep repeating.
I have an explanation for this one, when entering a shipyard and choosing a ship or a mission to build it takes a few seconds to change to it, so if you choose very fast, before the image of the chosen ship/mission is changed, it will instead build the last thing selected.
Sounds reasonable. I'll be slower and see if I can prevent it.
I just noticed in my game, dont know if it is a bug or by design, but I captured a planet with the anti-matter power plant (One per Galaxy), I didn't want to defend the planet and the improvement being undestroyable, so I destroyed the colony but was not given the option to build a new anti-matter power plant on any other planet.
