Under Windows 10, I'm using the Flat Dark theme: https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/windowblinds/8764/
UPDATE: I noticed that this same problem happens in all the other Windowblinds10 themes, so it is a WindowBlinds10 problem not only related to the Flat Dark theme of @LightStar author, I mean the Flat Dark theme has nothing to do at all in this issue, it is a problem related to Windowblinds10.
I have SkinStudio10 on which I'm modifying little parts of the original theme, and I noticed a strange problem with this theme, the issue is that the text of the titlebar of explorer window is only shown when the titlebar buttons have the mouse over, no matter whether the window is active or inactive, the text is only shown when I put the mouse over the min/max/close buttons as you can see here:
Note: I replaced the titlebar buttons, yes, but the problem happens too with the original theme.
Is this a WindowBlinds10 bug, or it is a issue with the theme itself?.
I would like to know if there is an option/colour setting in SkinStudio10 to try fix this strange problem. Thanks for read.
Flat Dark is a skin I made and it does not do that here or on any of my testers computers on Windows 10 pitoloko. Did it do this before you started modifying the skin?
Hi @LightStar, thanks for supporting this issue. Yes it happens with the original unmodified theme too:
Now I noticed that the text is shown too when resizing the window, as you can see in the gif above.
I'm on a clean installation of Windows 10 Fall Creators Update 1709, using the Flat Dark 10 substyle of your theme package, I did a clean reinstall of the Flat Dark theme package (after deleting the folder created in the public documents folder of Stardock) and I didnt touched/modified anything of the theme, any color, nothing of nothing.
I have not installed none related UXTheme patch that could alter the WindowBlinds normal behavior, and I don't have any other kind of personalization tool like WindowBlinds running on my O.S, well, just I have StartIsBack++ to change the start button, but that never before and now does not affect the style of explorer Windows, anyways I tried disabling StartIsBack++ to confirm it.
Testing more themes I noticed that this same problem happens in the default WindowBlinds themes (excluding the Aero Windows theme, of course), so probably it is a bug of WindowBlinds itself, maybe it does not support properly my Windows 10 version?... who knows...
I really think a moderator or someone with proper contact privileges than me should report this to Stardock dev. team, since this problem happens with other themes too, with all the themes... under Windows 10 Fall Creators Update 1709.
Here are my WindowBlinds10 settings if it helps for something:
You can send the report yourself pitoloko by going to Stardock support and sending in a support ticket ( https://esupport.stardock.com/index.php?/Tickets/Submit ). But the big problem is, no one else is having the issues you are having, so it has to be something unique to your system.
Now I'm have the same issue, with one of my new skins. Does the exact same thing.
I'm using Windows 7, though.
It only happens on Firefox when "maximized". The text is gone but will show up "only" if I mouse over the titlebar buttons. Weird.
I didn't find the solution, but the problem did go away.
I switched to the "Do not use per-pixel frames", used it for a bit and then switched back. Text is now showing up.
Would like to know why it did it in the first place. Just on "this skin" I'm working on. Not on any others. Again, weird.
