Is it possible to enable WindowBlinds themes in Object Desktop apps? It seems strange that these themes don't take effect in WindowBlinds own settings window, or in any other Object Desktop software.
If this isn't a current feature I would like to suggest it be added in future builds, but I haven't been able to locate any feedback or suggestion pages to do so.
Cheers
Each "app" is skinned individually, For instance a Cursor won't look like the Windowblinds skin, but looks like the skin you applied for that. This gives people the option to mix & match to their own liking.
-Often there are matching skins to download for those who want.
ThemeManager used to work like that. Sadly, it has fallen by the wayside and no longer gets the attention it deserves.
It was not support to skinned anyway as usual.
I'm using theme manager for WB, IP and the wallpaper. Works great with only those three items
Back in the day, ThemeManager would load CursorXP skins, DesktopX skins, WindowBlinds skins, etc. Whatever the TM Suite contained.
I remember those days. There were some awesome suites back then.
Thanks for the info. Ideally I'd like to reskin spacemonger. I'm setting up for low light conditions and would prefer the text was light and background of the window was dark. Is this at all possible?
No,it's what it is. That's intention not to skin.
Yeah ! them were the days alright & don't get me started on those bitch'n dx themes.Whoa ! Whoa ! wtf some of those themes work on win 7 & 8.I thought that all stopped at win xp.Well this changes everything, gotta go ! got some downloading to do & try out some of red necks wacky themes.Star trek here i come or should that be back to the future (last time i used one was on xp)
DX works fine on 10. All you gotta do is disable UAC, which should be disabled anyway. First thing I do on a fresh install. UAC is useless.
A word of caution here... If you are in a domain and you disable UAC via Group Policy, you will not be able to use any of the native Microsoft Apps (photo viewer, calculator, Edge, etc).
If you do it the normal way you will be fine.
I always do it the normal way. (My wife may disagree....hehe haha......)
