Today we are opening up the Founder’s Program to Phase II in preparation for alpha testing (Fall) and beta testing (Winter).

We’re still very early in development as you can see. The creatures and other cool stuff on the planets weren’t quite ready to show yet and we’re saving the best parts for a later reveal.
Feature status
Founders will get access to The Vault. This is where our internal development blogs are kept, lots of not ready for prime time assets and screenshots are shown and the forum where Founders give feedback on what they like and don’t like what we’re doing.

a BIG thank you to Draginol for allowing more lifetime people. When I read a post in the Stardock forums several months ago, it sounded like all the elite founder key (founder's lifetime edition in this case) chances were already sold out. Just put $99.99 on my debit card. Looking forward to seeing how the game plays. It took me about 5 minutes to whip out my debit card and do the purchase.

The best way to get an idea of what the game will be like would be to play Star Control II. You can download the "Ur Quan Masters HD Version" free on the internet.

Hi! An avid fan of Star Control 2 here. Didn't have to think twice before becoming a lifetime founder. It's amazing to see the great job you guys are doing.
Can't wait to see something! Star Control II is still my favourite game of all time. It's exactly the right mix of sandbox and epic galactic saga.
So exited about this new Star control game, I loved the original, probably my second fav game. I will be getting the founders version soon...
Ok got it! And it was worth it! I love all that stuff in the 'vault'. I do have some ides with the game. Make a minimap for the planet section and the. Also maybe make the angle adjustable.
Stupid question: how do I change my portrait? I have already uploaded the images to 'images' section when in 'account' but nothing happened. i suspect I have missed something obvious.
Ok this is strange. The portrait applied to the the new post after I changed the portrait but the one before I changed it? Ok interesting.
