This mod is my second complete modification for the Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion game and I have choosen the Wing Commander universe because never a mod from this universe was finished before. It is not a proyect from few days ago, I have been thinking about it more of one year. It is not a proyect started without any chance, I have the skills, the time and the stuff for to complete it at a small amount of time.
Thanks. I have more today. I have added more stations from the Confederation. At first place, the replacement for the Broadcast Center, it will spawn the Confederation culture around your planets.
The Trade station. You will need it if you want increase your credits faster thanks to the trade between systems.
With the Nephilim the Refinery is integrated into the Trade station but with the Confederation, the Refinery is another station.
This is the Confederation defense station, the basic model adds lasers and next you can upgrade it with more weapons. By this reason when you adds the missile burst ability, the model is upgraded with additional missile launchers.
This is the Confederation Hangar station. It can deploy two fighter squadrons. This station can be upgraded with additional weapons. When it happens, it adds four weapon plattforms.
I have uploaded a new video showing the Confederation structures, there are more additions. Now, with exception from the super gun station, I have added all the stations from this faction. Remember how I have not added the icons for most of them, I will make all them at same time. It will be faster.
Other change from the previous work showed, it is the Hangar Station, I have replaced the model.
The Orbital Cannon is a super weapon which you can see at all the factions from the game. From a way or other, it fires super shots which they can destroy your planets.
With the Confederation, I made one similar thing to the Nephilim. With a salvaged Behemot, the Confederation has builded the orbital cannon.
Now with the Confederation starbase, I have added all the structures and units from this faction. You can watch them in the video. After it, I will start with the Kilrathi, it will be fun because I will make most of them following my imagination and without follow too many previous designs from others because there are not more of two or five stations in the world made for this race. Have fun.
Perhaps even the Kilrathi stations will be easier because I will not be limited following a previous designed work.
Well, these are my two first structures from the Kilrathi. They are two satellites, smaller than other structures. One is the culture center and the other anti-jump structure (the interdictor).
Perhaps you can think how they are too low poly or too box or some like that but my primary point making these structures is the creation from some with the same style than the other Kilrathi units, perhaps these could be less symmetrical but I like them and they were not the first, I made other prototipe first. Perhaps I should show first my painted at paper designs but it is not my style. I like show first finished stuff.
The previous was the update from yesterday really. This is the update from today. An improve in the previous station and the Frigate Shipyard from Kilrathi. With the shipyard I have made some which it remembers me to the Kilrathi units.
The Kilrathi Capital Shipyard. You will note how now one of the Dreadnoughts is not builded in the Capital Shipyard and there is another Shivier, it will be the Siege variant. I have made the two super dreadnoughts as Titans because it reduces the advantage from the Kilrathi. Of course you can not build two of them, just one.
This huge thing is the Titan Shipyard from the Kilrathi, it needs be bigger because it has the bigger Dreadnoughts. I made it into a big Asteroid.
Today I have two stations more from the Kilrathi. The Civilian Research Station and the Military Research Station. Both are designs made by me. Very easy and simple, just following the style from the Kilrathi starships. By the moment, at least at my opinion, the Kilrathi structures are not giving me any headache, in fact, probably they are easy because I must not make them following any design previously made by anybody which it can have some troubles when you try to create it at a 3D model.
This old model and design from the Wing Commander IV will be the Trade Port from the Kilrathi. The next station will be the Refinery, my best option for this will be a asteroid with some additions. There was a station from WC3, a mix from asteroid and starbase but I want use it as the Kilrathi Starbase because it had a perfect addition for it. It had engines and the starbase from Kilrathi casually will have movement.
Other model from Wing Commander Prophecy should be part from the Kilrathi space structures in the mod. I am thinking where I will use it. I have not hurry but very probably I will finish the stations this week or the other. Next very probably I will add some special models for the Pirates and other additional factions. There will be a faction from the Union of Border Worlds and I can add the Black Lance as other faction. These two would use a lot from Confederation. Probably I would use more Privateer 2 stuff for the Pirates and these other factions.
There are other additional faction in the game and I was thinking in the Pilgrims. They are factions of stuffing anyway. All them sharing stuff from the Confederation with few changes.
This is my desing for the Kilrathi Refinery. One simple and not very complex mix between a asteroid and a factory starbase. Do you find it too ugly? well, it is not a pleasure cruiser and taking a look around other things as their home planet, the Kilrathi are very similar to the Klingons from Star Strek universe because they over populated their home world and they did not wasted too many resources at to create beautiful factories.
If I have not said it, I have not stopped the proyect, just I delayed it because I want use all my time with my last FOC Alliance Legacy addon. It is as a complete mod adding space and ground units never seen in other SW games before. With luck, I will finish it this year or in the first month from 2017 and I will return to my SOASE proyects as before.
At the end, because I can not finish my FOC mod at time for Xmas and it will take me more time. I have returned to the work with the Wing Commander mod. Other big point it was how I was starting to forget how edit the game and it could not be fun when I would return to edit SOASE.
Finally I added the Defense Station. A small and simple station armed with lasers. It has a upgraded version with missiles, very similar at concept to the Confederation station.
This is the version from the station armed with additional missile launchers. You can compare the size with other units, not too big, not too small. Enough for some like this.
These stations are important because I will add them as part of the defenses from the Starbase, the special space structure from the game, and it was not the unique additional station with these additional defenses. Kilrathi will be very similar at concept to the Confederation. Stations and weapons can be different but the role from things is similar.
Another new Kilrathi station. The Hangar. It is similar at concept to the Hangar from the Confederation, a small Satellite with the hangar addition.
This is the Hangar Station upgraded. The upgrade adds 4 additional Defense Stations. Have fun.
Do you remember these units from Privatter 2? they were pirate ships. I am converting them for the mod. They are old but they can be converted easily and the shader quality from Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion will make them better in game.
These images were made with a non-SOASE models viewer and they do not look as in the game but it will be enough by the moment.

Hi all. I have not published news for many time but I have not forgotten the proyect. Lately I continue working each day in the mod. My last work is the previous work, the pirate ships. I have added 4 ships and two fighters, all them privateer 2. These models take some of time and they are not finished at 100% but they will be soon.
My last plans are complete 3 factions. Perhaps I will add some units more as a replacement for the militia from planets.
Well, when I have more stuff, I will publish more. I would like finish the addition of models soon and continue replacing other things as icons, several images and customizing everything a bit more.
Time this week for the addition from some Black Lance's units. This rogue faction will be present in the mod with the militia. Sometimes with you and other times against you.

Time this week for the F-107 Lance, the stealth fighter seen in the game Wing Commander IV piloted by the Black Lance faction.
Progress goes a bit more slower than before but I continue working in the mod each week, more than enough. Next work will be the addition from some units from the Union of Border Worlds.
Black Lance and Union of Border Worlds will be part of the milita units. They are controlled by the IA for to attack you and help you in planets.
I have not published too much videos lately about this mod but I have been working in it each week. The last additions were changes in the militia units and pirates. Now you can see some of them.
Soon I will start to fix some problems and replace the main images from game, a much more easy work and relaxed.

Time to finish off the mod. Today after some months without work at it, I have continued the work. I have finished all the unit icons or at least what I thought how they were not completed. After this. I have continue with the faction icons.
These are the fleet logistic icons which I have added. I had not other ideas for this. I hope you like it. They are simple and effective.
Many progress today, thousands of text lines edited and many images edited. Customized the faction icons is not difficult or long, at least if you can save time with some pds created for my other SOASE mod time ago. But to find what you want or you can add is more difficult.
The main point here is how there are enough stuff from Kilrathi and Confederation but very very few from the Nephilim. I could easily to create the faction icons for the two first factions but I needed some of imagination with the Nephilim and the point is how at this moment, I have not finished them, if somebody have a idea about a flag, please tell me or show me.
About other things, before you tell nothing. The Union of Border Worlds are not finished and I know very well how they use a different flag.
Well, if I am not wrong, most of the unfinished graphic additions have been made and very probably I can release a first version soon.
Well. Now the point is to play and go improving things a bit more. By this reason, I will publish several videos from the games played.
About initial problems. Nothing which I did not know before. Some graphic errors and few more. Everything run good and fast. Perhaps you note a blink problem, this is because at least for me, the customized settings inside the game does not work very well and I must customized them inside the nvidia control panel. Nothing new.

The mod works with the last 1.91 ver from the game Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion, just uncompress it into the Mods-Rebellion v1.85 folder. If you are curious after the 1.85, the game developers did not renamed the number from the mods folder. As you will see the mod replaces the original units by units from Wing Commander universe. There are many things new in the universe as several stations and starships created by myself, mostly with great imagination and modifing other units.
This version can be considered a test version, I do not know what you will find wrong inside. Any bugs can be possible. However, by quantity, this mod is very simple and it should work without problems, even, it will work equal or better than the original game because it does not overload the game.
