WARNING. If you have IP 5.x installed on Windows 8/10 DO NOT uninstall it before installing IP10. Doing so will cause damage to icon associations that IP10 will not be able to fix. Install IP10 OVER IP5.x
Beta 2 update (7/18/16):
If I recall from the previous IconPackager (Win 7) you were able to double-click on an IP package and it would install.
Tried this on a couple of downloaded IP packages and nothing happened.
Found that I was only able to install other IP packages by clicking on Icon Package Options from within the IconPackager app then selecting Install Icon Package, then locating the folder where the package is, then opening the folder, then selecting the Icon Package.
Would be nice to reduce the number of steps to install downloaded IP packages.
Applying an Icon Package does take some time before completion.
Installed IconPackager, no problem. Applied reverse icons and every icon in every folder changed to match. Did take a little time to install the icon pack. Now to go get some more to try.
Installed Blackout icon pack by Ace Matrix. Opening IP GUI and selecting icon options then add icons from disk. Go to download folder and clicked on the zip package and it installed, no problem. Methinks another winner be's here.
Installed on Windows 10. Program starts and opens for about 15 seconds, then closes with no message or error.
Are you using the insider preview of Windows 10?
Double click to apply should work as before.
If not then something is broken on your install.

It is a zip file that when extracted the icon package has an extension of xxx.iconpackage
I downloaded the Plump Icon Package that is not zipped and has the xxx.ip file extension. This installed by double clicking the file.
Not a bug to report, just a question before I even attempt to use it.
What happens if you uninstall it?
It gets uninstalled.
If you mean does it break all your exe icons, the answer should be no.
Is that bug really fixed for good, Neil? No more blank exe icons after uninstalling IP?
I installed IP and all seemed okay until I opened Windows Explorer then all my Fences on the desktop disappeared, though the icons in them stayed in the fenced areas. Returned icon set to windows default and they reappeared.
Icon set used was the Delta package. I have Windows 10 Pro with Fences 3.01 and WindowFX 6.02 loaded.
Graphics card is: AMD Radeon R9 380 4GB.
I have just changed icon to Flash set and so far seems okay, so probably the Delta set thats doing something weird?

PS. Just noted after closing and submitting this that though the fences are now still visible I cannot create new ones or move existing fences and the roll-up doesn't happen, so going back to Windows Default icons
When an icon package is applied the Explorer process restarts Fences may be affected. That is normal.
Probably just a glitch in Fences. Applying an iconpackage restarts explorer so it may not have finished loading up Fences fully yet or got confused.
Just restarted, rebooted, signed out/signed in and nothing changes, Fences becomes unusable, cannot create, move, roll-up or anything unless I use IP to only display the Windows default icons, then Fences works fine.
So will wait until IP is out of Beta methinks, or unless anyone has any ideas. This BTW is on a clean install of Windows 10 Pro with hardly any other software on it other than Digital Audio Workstation software and no former install of previous versions of Icon Packager.
The live folders have not changed, though they did when the iconpack was first installed. Laptop was asleep for awhile and when I returned they had gone back to MS default icons.

BIG BIG Apologies, it would seem that it was 360 Total Security Virus App I forgot I installed yesterday. I had never tried to create a new Fence until today after installing Icon Packager, so assumed it was this as I couldn't think I had installed anything new until this. But I had forgotten about 360 Security app until about 10 minutes ago so uninstalled it and everything works fine now, including IP, so please accept my apologies, and bad memory.
Now got my Fences, FX and Icons in-situ worked in perfect harmony.

Yes....that's the intended OS in particular...
1. Happy that it is backInstalled it and applied "plump IP" which worked fine converted back to Windows default, closed iconpackager and went ahead to uninstall it.Wanted to see if iconfiles would be missing somewhere or if there would be any complications after a reboot.What i like is that during the uninstall process you now get informed that you should close the application down first Had to check my taskmanager if it was actually closed hehe- still i think this is coolIt would be also cool if people would be informed/promted to please switch back to windows default theme before proceeding(unless this step became unnessesary)rebooted and hunted for missing icons- at this point im not entirely sure if i spotted one or if its just a new windows icon for the .doc fileits just a "blank white page" but has no red indicator as on windows8.x on it so i guess that is the usual .doc icon?The .docx has the word icon.I rebuild the iconcache and made another reboot but it stays the same besides that i havent found anything.Awesome Beta
What antivirus do you use (or antimalware app)? It may be that is interfering with things.
I also assume you are using standard Windows explorer and not some third party browsing app.
