When I use a Folder Portal and make double-click to a folder in it, open the windows file explorer and not in Folder Portal.
I checked in Folder Portal Menu "Allow navigation" but doesn't works.
Have anyone an idea what's wrong. Use Windows 10 and it's up-to-date, buy Fences 3.01
thanks for help
Are you perhaps holding the Ctrl key down?
No, even if I do not press the Ctrl key opens the File Explorer.
I am sorry about this.

If you are using a 3rd party Windows Shell, Directory Opus for example, that could be the issue.
I also have this issue, windows explorer opens instead of navigating within the portal.
Hi
same here.
Folder Portal navigation seem not working. Never seen it in acton!
How it works?
(Windows10 64bit, last Anniversary Update)
Please verify that you are using Fences 3.x and that you have Allow Navigation checked.
yes, it's checked and enabled!
Thank you

I agree. Thank you!
C
Open the explorer and go to View > Options => Uncheck "Launch folder windows in a separate process".
Thanks! That worked
Going off Filouk's suggestion, also make sure:
The other option there, would be the same as holding CTRL + LMB. Hope that helps!

Adding screenshots for the 3 important steps for folder portal menu "Allow navigation". Hoping to save someone else a few hours of frustration. I purged and reinstalled 3 times (totally unnecessary) before I finally realized I missed a step. I was confused & treated these 2 settings as one, but they are actually 2 separate settings within the folder options: "Open each folder in the same window" & "Launch folder windows in a separate process". All 3 settings in screenshots below need to be verified.
1 from hamburger menu on folder portal title — select/check "Allow navigation"
2 under folder options "General" tab — select/check "Open each folder in the same window" & click Apply
3 under folder options "View" tab — unselect/uncheck "Launch folder windows in a separate process" & click Apply
P.S. I have to change the Step 3 setting after every single Windows update. 🙄
