Terrain/units tinted a deep Purple upon game start

Basically I start a SP game in either DX12 or normal modes, and everything but the UI is tinted a deep purple.  It's still playable but it's really annoying. Happens on all maps, but it is harder to see on Ice maps.  I have updated my drivers and my monitor is just fine.  

 

I can post the logs from the Stardock log tool if necessary.

While you're waiting for any other answers you might download and run DDU (http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html) to uninstall all traces of drivers. Then re-install the latest GPU drivers using the clean installation option.

Kazz, its not a driver issue.

 

I've been able to repro it successfully.  If any army uses blue or cyan, I have this issue.  If not, it goes back to normal.

My game turned a deep red, hurt to even look at the screen. UI/menus were unaffected.

I've been having the same issue.  Haven't tried it with non DX12 mode yet. 

 

GTX 980M

Turning MSAA off fixed this issue for me.

Which version of the Nvidia driver are you using?

I'm trying to reproduce it here.  I have a 361.43.  Doesn't happen here no matter what I do. 

This is on a GTX 980m

Update:

I did reproduce this.  Here's how I did it:

I went to the game options and changed my UI scaling from 100% to 80%.  Then I played with MSAA on and got the purple UI.

However, when I went to DX 11 and played it, it worked and then when I went back to DX 12, it also worked.  It's a very weird issue.

Okay apparently my driver hadn't quite updated like I thought it had, installed the newest driver and BAM it's good!  The new race has some scary powerful units...

Had this issue as well, setting MSAA to none fixed it.

I just got in on an AMD card.  Restarting fixe dit. Didn't change my settings.

Using Nvidia and I have about a 50/50 chance upon loading into a game to get this bug. Simply exiting to the menu and reloading fixes it.
