Yes, uninstall WindowBlinds 8 before you install 10. Install 10 on top of 8 can run into some issues.
They are all trade mark. So skinners can not make them to give out. If they were allowed you would have seen them long ago.

Having followed Uvah's advice, WindowBlinds 10 installed with zero problems. This again reveals Stardock's terrific software development expertise. Thank you Stardock for taking the time to produce WindowBlinds 10!
Not good advice to turn off UAC and Smartscreen. Without it programs from the net can install without asking. I installed with no issues from Stardock. As far as tuning things off, My brother in law ended up with ransomware, because he browsed a few dodgy websites (not porn) and he isn't the best with updates... He had turned off UAC and so there was no notice of anything installing. Next morning there were two notes on his desktop with the ransom message. He lost everything because he couldn't pay. Fortunately things like the family pictures were also duplicated on his wife's machine.
I've installed WB 10 on Windows 10. Since doing so, after applying a skin (doesn't matter which one), my screen jumps constantly. Literally in a pulsing fashion. I've looked for conflicts with other programs and after unloading everything else, it still happens....
Anyone else?
On Windows 10 no as the OS has changed in a way which does not allow this feature to work. On Windows 7/8/8.1 that feature is still available.
This is a known issue with some multiple monitor setups. We have a fix in testing but for now if you disable the taskbar on the secondary monitor it will stop the problem.

I used Windowblinds back in the XP days and thought I would give it a go with the new WB10 release. However, once I installed WB 10 and opened it, it just froze and I had to shut it down through task manager. I do have the insider preview version of Windows 10 installed and I am assuming that is my problem, but I came here hoping someone knew of a way to get this to work. I have uninstalled and re-installed a couple of times and had the same result.
Make sure you install it with any anti-virus program(s) you have turn off. Also, try right clicking on the installation file and doing a Run as Administrator, that might help.
Thank you for the reply. I have done everything that you suggested already, even trying to run it in different compatibility modes. My best guess is that the WB 10 program does not play nice the Win 10 Insider Preview builds.
Most likely since WB10 works nicely on W10's current release version.
I had to disable Windows Defender in Group Policy before the installation would work, but, on Windows 10 Insider Build 14295, things are working fairly well. The odd hiccup here and there, but nothing traumatic. Installing WB Beta solved a lot of glitches.
Just an FYI... it's not recommended to utilize Windows Defender, as it is not effective (it never has been). Even the more improved version shipped with Windows 10 is not remotely trustworthy in preventing malware/viruses.
Been using Microsoft Security Essentials/Windows Defender since it's inception and have never had a virus/malware/trojan or anything else get through. Don't believe all the BS other AV/Malware companies tell you, they would say anything to promote their own products.
I am using Insider Builds also, no problems installing WB10 at all.
That information isn't from competitors... in every independent test conducted on the efficacy of AV programs' abilities to detect malware/viruses, Windows Defender/MSS has never broken 90% (the Windows 8 version was something like 56% detection).
Is it likely Windows Defender/MSS will continue to greatly improve on Windows 10 to the point it's on par with other competitors and scoring a minimum 95% (98.5 - 99.99% preferable), absolutely... but it isn't even close to being there yet.
I appreciate your perspective and experience thus far, however you're either extremely lucky, have good browsing and installation security etiquette, or have been been infected by malware and you simply don't know (the probability of the latter goes up substantially if you've relied only on MSS for malware/virus protection, especially if used exclusively prior to Windows 10 since you don't know what you can't detect).

Having been a PC/Network Technician for many, many years before being forced to retire due to disability, I simply use common sense browsing and there isn't any Malware or anything like that on my computers. I can boot to 7, 8.1 or 10 and there isn't anything on any of them in the way of a virus, etc. As far as independent testing.... well, lets just say that scores can be manipulated. Not saying it did/does happen, just that it can happen. I don't review independent test results on anything anyway.
