Hi there,
I have ObjectDock 2.20 (latest version) and a while back, I purchased a 4K monitor. When I set up the monitor, I had to re-adjust the settings for the scale and position of my ObjectDock on the screen. Later, I returned the 4K monitor and went back to using my 1080p monitor. Now, ever since I've gone back to the lower resolution, I've found that ObjectDock will not remember its position or size on the screen after a reboot.
What should I do to fix this?
Thank you for the help.
Hi,
It seems that the ObjectDock has problems to save or load the settings.
I'm running on Windows 10 64bit Pro.
The Dock stays on its position, but it 'forgets' the autohide setting over and over again.
An update with a fix would be appreciated !!
Check these files: C:\Users\{USERNAME}\AppData\Local\Stardock\ObjectDockPlus - You may need to delete them or back them up, delete them, and reset your positions.
I can completely confirm the problem of ObjectDock forgetting it should 'autohide' at times. It may be some kind of crash when unloading it or something, since I get it maybe once in two weeks. On my other machine, it constantly forgets it should hide the taskbar. On both machines, but this may be another problem, the whole system sometimes (maybe once or twice a month) seems to hang since no window reacts to clicks anymore or appears to be stuck, but once and IF I get to unload ObjectDock (mostly, even the Task Manager on Windows 10 isn't accessible anymore), all is fine again. It seems ObjectDock has some severe problems, unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a real alternative which is maintained well.
